Thanks so much for the photo. How sad - to go serve your country and end up dying from the 1918 flu.
I lost my great uncle in WWI. He was buried in France. My great grandmother was able to travel after the war with the old star mothers to see where her son was buried.
Thanks for your service. My dad and most of my uncles fought in WWII. They came home.

If you go to Strinestown Cemetery in Strinestown Pennsylvania, its on Find a Grave..Go to my Brother's Memorial..He was KIA in Vietnam during TETin 1968..He and all the Vets kiving or Dead are My Heroes..When I see a Vet I THANK THEMfor their service..My Brothers name is William L Young Jr..Could you leave a message on his Memorial for me?..I will try and make it to Johnson City on Memorial Day..I will ask her to take me..I can't drive because of certain Medicine I have to take..I have a Cousin in the Military Cemetery there..His name is Ray Jones..Just found that out a couple months ago..
