Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife Sandy and I have been doing family research since 1995 in the northern Ohio area where we both were raised and most of our families and ancesters settled. We have now retired and have pulled out our Ohio roots and transplanted ourselves in South Carolina.
Some of our family surnames we are researching are :
Hurst, Mader, Lorenzen, Micle, Levandoski, McKenna, English, Szczecinski, Stawicki, McCormick, Schidlowski and Haggett.

Mary Dorothy Hurst
Hello there. While going through my grandmother's photos, I came across a near-mint postcard baby photo of Mary Dorothy. The reverse reads, "Mary Dorothy Hurst at six weeks old, To Mary". I see that the baby was born 11/29/20 so the photo is from 1/1921. It is a wonderful photo of a sweet newborn! My grandmother, Mary Gallager Cover, and the baby's mother were friends and perhaps worked together at the Hollen Den on Superior Ave in Cleveland, or at Luna Pier. I have scanned the photo and placed it on her Find A Grave page, and you are welcome to the original photo if you wish. Looking forward to hearing from you. Karen Cover in Michigan

RE: Micle/Hatch
Ok, good! You have a closer relation than I do then. Samuel William Hatch's father Samuel Gordon Hatch is my 3rd great grand uncle.

Waving SC Flag
I love your waving flag. It makes me want to put my toes in the water and sand at the Isle of Palms!

Wondered why you put a "don't show cemetery photo" on my great grandfather's Memorial page ?

Do you know what "new section" means on several of your requests? They are selling plots in around 6 sections right now.
