Henry A. Dawson
Hello: I was surprised and thrilled to see your picture of Henry's grave marker (cross) posted on his memorial. I would like to know what cemetery he is buried in. Thank you...

RE: Tyne Cot Memorial
Thank you Dominique, that is very kind of you. I have found some more information today, as it is his day of passing in world war 1 on this day. He was 35 years old, such a tragic family as his wife passed away 6 months later and left behind their daughter who also died aged 16 within the same year.

Thank you for your reply.

Most of the obit (minus living family members) is on the memorial. But his full obit is here:

No details about his service or about being a paratrooper.

I will be sending you an email with possible contact info.

RE: Billy J Chandler
It looks like the text of Billy Chandler's obit is on his memorial page. Here are the parts that are pertinent to his military service.

"He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he served from 1943 to 1945. Chip received one Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts, a Victory Medal, a European Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon and Distinguished Unit."

RE: Larence F Cook
His obit is posted on the Find a Grave memorial page. It states he "served in the U.S. Army during World War II." There is no military marker at his grave.
Thank you for your military service and for your concern and efforts in honoring the WWII veterans. My father served in this war. His memorial is # 44221454.
Thanks again,
Fay C. Leonard
