Raymond W. Newton
Dear Des:

Thank you photographing of the headstone of Flight Lieutenant Raymond Newton, from Vancouver, Canada. No one in our family has been able to visit the grave site and it is comforting to know that it is being well cared for.

PFC William LaRay Petry
Please transfer the cross marker picture you added from #56284552 to #68738909. There is a duplicate file for William Petry and I have his parents attached to the new file #68738909. After this is done, then I can delete the older file. Thanks for your help and for providing the picture.

PFC Clovis C Basden
Pfc. Basden, buried in Margarten, Limburg, Netherlands, was from Paris, Lamar County, Texas. Here in Paris, we are building a Veteran's Memorial to remember and honor those who served our country (see: Red River Valley Veterans Memorial www.rrvvm.com). We plan to have on our website a biography and a picture of the headstone of the men who served. Is it possible that you would give us permission to use the picture you have posted for this soldier on our site. We would want to use it without your tag, but would give you recognition in the portion of the webpage where we thank those who have helped on this project. Please consider joining us as we honor the men from this area....

Thank you
Dear Des,

Thank you for submitting the photo of Capt. Gersabeks grave stone. My grandmother just passed away this week at 102 years old.

It was her desire to visit his grave in Europe, but sadly she was never able to make the trip.
