I will be happy to make additions or corrections of any inaccurate information of those Memorials I manage.
One thing however, if you are one of those who follow every memorial I have posted or do post, and pick them, looking for something to Edit, don't. If I miss something significant then by all means submit an edit. But if you are one of the aforementioned and there are a few of those who do it regularly, then sooner or later I will "ignore" your edits. I spend considerable time researching some of the memorials so if you feel the need to look for edits then make your own memorials up, please.

Thank you for adding Aunt Norma's obit. I linked her son that passed recently.

Thank you for your bio!! :)

I had something simular on mine. I call these people the cemetery police! But heads up, the last time I went to my bio page it had been changed and any reference to these people had been removed. This really hacked me off. I am still debating on if I should continue adding my hard work to this site. If it is not appreciated why bother?
Have a Blessed Weekend.

Annie Outlaw
Her maiden name was Annie F. Hadwin. If you live close to the New Ebenezer Cemetery, would you please take a photo of the headstone and update your memorial with the picture. This individual is a great aunt. I am in the process of doing research on my family tree and am trying be as accurate as possible since I am writing a publication on my family ancestry.

Sincerely,

Tom Struth
Thank you so much for the post on Tom C. Struth. He is a (Perry) relative of mine. We had spoken a few times when he was in LA and I missed his funeral. It was wonderful to see his extensive obituary/tribute. Thanks for all you do.
Most sincerely, Connie P. Woodward

Caney Creek Cemetery
When I went to the Caney Creek cemetery back in 2008 (I believe) there were tall trees surrounding the cemetery. You had to park on Seven Pines Road, go through a logging gate and walk about half a mile down a logging road before you came up on the almost hidden cemetery. It was almost covered completely in underbrush. I went back a few years later and found that the timber had been cleared and much of the old logging road was buried under the remaining timber scraps. This made it difficult to walk but the cemetery was more visable. The Bossier Sherriff's office helped lead me to the location of the cemetery and told me that the land owners had to allow visitors permission to visit the old cemetery. The gate to the logging road is on the west side of Seven Pines road but closer to the north end about two miles from where it intersects with Hwy 160. The road from the logging gate to the cemetery does not follow a straight line but zig-zags back towards the left (south and east) as you walk toward the cemetery. I don't know what the area looks like now but I am sure there are waist-high trees or brush by now. Be careful if you go during hunting season. Good luck.
