Bio Photo Originally from Southern Indiana, I now live in the PanHandle of Florida. I am interested in the VanHoosiers of Perry County, Indiana and the Greers of Warrick County, Indiana.
I really enjoy searching the cemeteries of Northwest Florida for those asking thru "Find-A-Grave. Quickly learning this area and it's cemeteries.

You're very welcome. I made note to try again when it's not so gray outside.

I wanted to thank you personally for posting a picture of my mother's grave. I couldn't get my own family to do it, but you stepped up. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and what you are doing. You've inspired me to do the same thing, no matter where I may be. Again, thank you so much.

RE: 1900 census
Oh yes, Hi Mary! I didn't make the connection with the last name 'Thomas.' So Aunt Gin had the biography of Aunt Ida and Fred Bradley? Or is it just on Fred?
Well, my mother was the expert on the early years of the family and I'm so missing her right now. She knew everything about Aunt Ida---but she never told me that Fred was previously married. So the son Alfred must be from the first union? Or was he adopted? My understanding is that Aunt Ida had no children of her own.
If you will send me your email address, I will send you an invitation to the Crowdus family tree on ancestry.com and you can take a look at what I've done so far with my mother's help.

RE: Fred C. Bradley
Oh that's interesting. Was he married before Aunt Ida? Alfred is from a first marriage then?
And you are correct--she did meet him while he worked at the railroad but I didnt know it was in KY. I thought it was in Mobile or here.
Is there any way I can get a copy of that bio? I have tons of docs on the Crowdus family and would love to see it.
How is your husband related to Fred Bradley or the Crowdus's?

RE: Ida and Fred Bradley
Aunt Ida moved to Pensacola FL during the Depression and I think my mom said it was to meet a boyfriend there when he came home from the service. He never did. She stayed, and yes, that's how Grandaddy and Grandmother (Glennon & Lillie Crowdus) ended up moving from Morganfield KY to Pensacola FL. The first 5 children were born in KY. The last 7 after they moved to Pensacola. James (Baby Jimmy) died of multiple birth defects at 2 mos. old.
Aunt Ida met and married Fred later--we think she was in her 30s and he was 20 yrs older than her.
