No, we're not twins -- we're not even sisters. Heck, we're not even related .... or are we? As you well know if you deal with genealogy, we're all related. But with any relationship, if you have nothing in common -- failure!! So, as if we didn't have enough in common, we decided to help out as much as possible in getting photos of gravestones to their loved ones.|
We are full-time RVers (retirees) living in Brenda, Arizona during the winter. It's in the darn desert and there's not a lot to do. We could only hope; we're busy all the time! Mostly, we're busy driving, with the nearest big town being 30 miles away.
Some of the things we do together are: sing, dance, work on genealogy, travel for genealogy, spend all our money on lunch when we travel for cemetery photos, spend our time in mindless chit-chat, and are a general menace to our husbands and others. Oh, yes, and we love, love, love to play Mexican Train!!!
Well, that's about all we can think of at the moment. We'll let you know if we think of anything else to add to our bio.
Oh, by the way, Connie's the pretty one ... that's her on the left ... Elaine's on the right.
Hugs to all! Connie & Elaine

I have been to the Cedarvale cemetery and the Resthaven Memorial park many times but never at the same time and I'm positive I have Arthur Johnston and his wife in the right cemetery. They evidently ended up being buried in Resthaven Memorial park since there is definitly a stone provided for them at that location.

Connie thank you so much!!! I did have Willa linked to the wrong Charles Cole. I have corrected the Memorial and added a picture of their marker. I appreciate you pointing it out to me. I'm sorry for the mistake!

A great story and I'm sure your up coming book will be interesting. Love your story about Grandma's gift. I inherited my paternal Grandma's gift also - the gift of gab!
My Find A Grave sites, I may not have the thousands like some members do; however, I try to document as much as I can. It is so annoying when a Find A Grave member post, I do not do obituaries, or will not transfer a family member. I just do not get it!
Well, the Cables in Tennessee inter-married many times within many families in the area and populated the area greatly in the 1800's. I'm related to everyone in that area. There is the Julius Dugger Cemetery in Dry Hill, Johnson County, TN, that my maternal grandmother and great-grandparents and other gr-gr-gr-gr grands are buried. Julius Dugger is one of my DAR Revolutionary Patriots in which he served for the state of North Carolina. His tombstone, in the Julius Dugger Cemetery, list Captain, but the DAR has him listed as a Private.
Great chatting with you and good luck with your book.

Thank you Connie for helping to correct this situation. I have corrected the mother. Dancing with Ghosts - has created so much information on the memorials that it is difficult to understand with all of the common names.
If you take a peek at #35507169, you will note that I added information to Casper Cable, Sr. from the "History of Johnson County 1986" book.
Are you related to the folks in that area?
I have also sent a message to Bill Culver & Dancing with Ghosts, that Casper, Jr is buried at Casper Cemetery, the farm,, but the headstone was moved to the John Cable Cemetery. Not sure why that happened, but it did.

Would you please have a look at Enos Herman Todd's page #33650714? Some how he has himself turning up as his own spouse twice, but when you go to his spouse Amelia Mariah Boone Todd's page, #33650678, it looks ok. Thanks!
Nothing new on this end, except I have a new computer - one of those laptops and it's like starting all over again. I'll get used to it. Have to. How are things on your end?
I went to the Rush River Cemetery and I went into
the office to ask if Gust Pundy is buried in that cemetery. They went through their books and he isn't buried there. I looked in Ancestry for Gust and it said he died in Anoka Co. Minnesota. Have you checked with the state of Minnesota and see if there is a death record for him?

Thanks for creating my grandparents memorials! Clearly we are related. I just noticed your list of virtual cemeteries, and I can't wait to start going through it. -Sue

Just wondering how you are doing. It's been a while since I dropped you a line.

Geraldine is my Aunt and I was wondering if you would consider letting me have the Management of her site, so I can care for my Aunt for her Son, Franklin
Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication
