God has instilled in me a need to give voice to my ancestors. I talk about them, seek to understand their lives, and search for their final resting places. With this inspiration coming from my ancestors, I have chosen the username "Ancespiration" as being most representative of my current course and direction.

Sidelined by a degenerative back condition, I still find time and energy to devote to the things I'm passionate about. I love anything to do with family history, genealogy and collecting family memorabilia (ie: my grandmother's rocker; my grandmother's and great-grandmother's wedding bands). I also love staying in touch with friends on the phone, through letters, etc. Some of my other loves are flowers (My favorites are fragrant and in the blue family, but I adore orchids, roses, freesias, hydrangeas, and stephanotis); salads; dogs (but particularly small ones); cats; horses; goats; genealogy; digital photo restoration; digital photography; scrapbooking; letter writing; watching movies; and baking.
