Most of these memorials are based on personal research from my family history (birth, death, marriage, military & other records). Other information was taken from grave markers or obituaries that I've discovered over the years. Cannot guarantee the accuracy of all these memorials, but believe most of them to be correct.
Will be glad to make memorial transfers upon request that is if related. Would very much like to hear from you and should you have any additional information and if there are any corrections to be made, please let me know.

as I move through the Jennens graves, I find your name each time and it seems we share our family line. Great to have this connection through John, the iron master after whom Jennens Row in Birmingham is named.
Thanks for all your work on the family.
Hello! Thank you for all of the wonderful information you have shared on this website. It is a thrill to learn family history. Looks like we have a connection starting with Mary LeSueur Harper possibly?

|Jer||Mary Thorpe Harris memorial #136542913|
Hi Carol, thanks for all the work you have done, the information is invaluable. Came across your post for Mary Harris wife of Edward Harris Sr. memorial #136542913, Edward and Mary are my 7th Great Grandparents. From some of the information I have come across there may be an errors here.
In the “US and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900” Edward Harris (1663-1734) married Mary Turner (1667-1734) daughter of John Turner (1641-1705) and Mary Tomlin (1645-1705) in 1685.
Also in the “US and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900” Edward Harris Jr. (1698-1739) son of Edward Harris and Mary Turner married Mary Thorpe (1675-*) believed to be the Daughter of Timothy Thorpe.
So I believe that the Mary listed in this memorial should be Mary Turner Harris.
I also show 14 children for Edward Harris and Mary Turner including the three you have listed. Although I am not 100% sure about all that I have listed. If you would like a list please let me know and I will post what I have.

I have only recently starting using Find A Grave. I signed up before I retired and did not have time. I read the instructions about having an actual photo, but I notice that some people either ignore this or placed memorials before this rule--my guess is ignore. I thought I could create a memorial that would only be visible in my virtual cemeteries, but found out that it does not work that way. Someone pointed that out to me. I wanted to have links for my relatives that are not into genealogy--this may be the only genealogy that they would use. I have some missing links and wanted to create a "holding" spot until I could hopefully find the grave.
I have some information about the Virginia Thorntons somewhere.
I am going to share the Find A Grave links with my Dickerson cousins from Elbert County.
Sarah Upshaw Thorton--113514070
Sorry I did not include this on previous email.
I am going to share these links with my family at the next reunion. I like to have families linked together if possible.
I added an edit to Priscilla Thornton's memorial and I checked to be sure I added the correct parents and I did. Actually, Sarah and Priscilla were sisters. I shouldn't answer my emails before my cup of coffee.
!Pricilla's obituary in the "Southern Christian Advocate" states she was a daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Thornton of Elbert Co., Ga. and died in "her 37th year", the wife of Sion Hunt. S.C.A. Oct 16, 1846.

I am glad that you asked for the names of Priscilla's parents. I think I got Priscilla and Sarah Thornton's parents mixed up.
Priscilla's parents are: Benjamin Thornton and Sarah Upshaw. Benjamin was born in 1779 and Sarah also about 1779.
