Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm concentrating on Manchester Cemetery in Red River County, Texas by researching each family line buried there and adding photos. My paternal grandparents, their kids, paternal great and great great grandparents are also buried here. In fact, the community is so small, basically everyone buried at Manchester Cemetery is related to each other either by marriage or blood. This has been a working project for the past 20 years so you can see why I'm apt not to transfer people. However, if there are mistakes, ommissions, or additions you'd like to correct on anyone's profile, please drop a line.

Gertrude Clyde Enox
Can you please tell me where you found the middle name for Gertrude? All papers I have seen listed just Gertrude C. or Gertie C. I have found only one family reference to the C. being Clyde and it is suspect.

I would love to know for fact that her middle name was Clyde! Was it on a funeral or burial form? Death certificate?

Thanks,
PJ

Asa S. Smith
Could you tell me where you confirmed the name Asa S. Smith? The gravestone shows only Asa Smith and my family has his name as Albert Asa Smith, we both have the same vital stats including his marriage to Esteller Futch. I greatly appreciate your assistance in whatever information you may have or be able to obtain or just point me towards.

Asa was reportedly full blood Cherokee, but this has never been confirmed. Since you have been researching this cemetery for so many years, I thought you could share some of your findings regarding any documents there may have been when many Native Americans were changing their names due to the "stigma of the times."

RE: Bobby Goodman
Daddy passed away June 22, 2007 in Hugo Ok.

He had colon cancer.

Rusty and I cared for him in his last days.

I miss him terribly.
