Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am always happy to add additional information, create links, or make corrections to the memorials i have entered. I will try to do this as soon as possible. Please use the edit tab when sending the information.

If I make a mistake on a memorial, it's just that--a mistake. If you find a mistake, I'll do my very best to get it corrected.

You have permission to use of my gravestone photos. All I ask is that I be given credit for taking the photo.

An explanation for some of the causes of death:

Bright's Disease - Any of several forms of disease of the kidney attended with albumin in the urine, including especially acute and chronic nonsuppurative nephritis.

In America, especially, a chronic inflammation of, and hypersecretion from the membranes of nose or air passages. Also an acute influenza, resulting from a cold and attended with cough, thirst, lassitude and watery eyes; also, the cold itself. Catarrh Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lung tissue associated with catarrh and with marked evidences of inflammation of the bronchial membranes - often chronic.

Scarlet fever is a childhood disease. It is a bacterial infection caused by specific bacteria and found in about 10 percent of persons with strep throat. Symptoms include high fever, a strawberry like tongue, and body rash. It can be prevented by habits of cleanliness - like hand washing.

Augustus Wright
I visited the cemetery today in Kane Co IL to photograph this grave. I will post photos of that section of the cemetery where Augustus is most likely buried. I found no marker. As you will see from the photos near where he is buried there are very few markers.

RE: Walter S Merriss
Thanks for getting back to me. I saw the Union Cemetery name and did not notice the different cities; I am in CA and not familiar with the Iowa locations. Maybe we should just leave the 2 memorials the way they are..

Thank you, rebeltem

Thank you for inking him with his parents. It has been my goal to get all of Andrew's children linked with him--and you helped!

RE: Pearl Fawcett
I totally get it ... and pray that Find a Grave does start including many last name fields for women, who have been married more than once, so that all of their names are searchable. It seems to be an important matter in my opinion. ALL of their last names should be listed .. and all should be searchable and findable ... if those are words. LOL Some folks may look for a woman with her second husband's name ... not even realizing that she had been married before. Perhaps we should both contact find a grave and ask why it is not done already. You take care ... and God bless ...

Henry Vanderheiden
Hi, I am searching for Mrs. Henry Vanderheiden (his findagrave # is 121886000) Bertha Vanderheiden was born Bertha Reiman or Reimann in 1897 and is documented as Henry's wife, but she is not recorded in F.A.G. with Henry. Are there cemetery records that would indicate if Bertha is buried next to Henry but without a marker? Trying to link up Bertha with her Reiman / Reimann relatives. Any help would be appreciated :)

Thank You

Seth Arthur Ash.
Hi and thank you for the work you do. I noticed there is an error on Seth Arthur Ash's page. his fathers last name is CUMMINGS not CUNNINGS. I am an ASH descendant. I have done a great deal of research on Seth Arthur Ash. I lived near Cody, Wyoming and worked with the Genealogy Society in Cody. I have a picture of Seth Arthur and have been to his grave site in Cody. I have also been to Storm Lake to where he was reburied. I have much on him and his marriage and his girlfriends. Yes, more than one.
I have been to Heart Mountain where Burt Lampert scratched in the sand stone that he killed Seth Arthur. Lampert was a bad guy and people were afraid to testify against him. Lampert was convicted of killing a man in Meeteetse, Wyoming, south of Cody. Lampert died in prison

RE: Tredway Memorials
I'd be happy to take a photo of the Tredway plot although there are no markers. Lee Mission is a medium size older cemetery that has served many families and groups over the years.

RE: David W Patterson
Glad I could help out. The marker is made out of metal and looked like it had been freshly clean. Very easy to find, read, and photograph. I took photos of all sides and attached to the other Patterson's memorials.
