I will send you clipping I found about the plant. I plan on doing an article of it on my kittanningonline.com site. The area of Jud Softball Field above the YMCA on N. Water St. and north to Ewing St. was the location of the site.

The obit I sent you from our paper is augmented at the funeral home, where it shows his birth date as February 1941. Go to above site.

RE: Robert Wasson
Your welcome. I was going through some newspaper scrapbooks and came across it. I believe this was from the Armstrong County Historical Society. Sometimes great stuff comes from personal ones I come across. I've been focusing on Wick Boro History as I met with a descendent of John Wick who found the area. Interested in the people who worked here in the early times and lived here. Employees of the Plate Glass and Pottery that were here and hope to connect with families who may have early pictures of the works and/or of Wick City people. Plan to do a history book on Wick City at some point. You may have seen my website kittanningonline.com with history articles. Also a connection with the Crissman family I saw through the links on find a grave.

I didn't realize that you were on the Lasher site too. I'll think about how best to address the specific cemetery discussion. Perhaps just through the Lasher site would be the easiest. You and I are undoubtedly related but I'm not quire sure how.

RE: Etta Pearl Wasson
Linda, Give me a day or two to collect the photos I couldn't post into a file. Once I have them together I'll send you copies. I don't want to clog up your email if you have problems receiving larger files.

I wish there was a way to get a group together, like on Facebook, where we could discuss specific cemeteries and post photos we are having problems identifying. Would you be interested if I would start such a group?

I know your main line you have mentioned is Wasson. What other lines are you researching in Armstrong, Clarion, Butler counties?

We do have a Facebook group for people researching Lashers/Leasures but they have also embraced Croyle, Bowser, Wyants, Toys, Hooks and many of the other names from the Adrian area.

RE: St. Mark's
Linda,

Yeah I see that but I really don't know much about the one in Eddyville. My mother, grandmother and other family members are mostly in the two cemeteries in Adrian (St. Mark's and Limestone). I would like to get to the one in Montgomeryville too.

RE: Etta Pearl Wasson
Linda,

I just added some information on the St. Mark's Find A Grave site for Wasson's and I have a couple of stones I'm sure are Wasson but I can't make out enough information from them to make an entry.

I recently went through the Armstrong Co cemetery inscription book and entered all of the stones for that location too. I'm still working on some of the other local cemeteries.

If you want I can email you copies of the stones and maybe you can pick out something recognizable to enter.
