Any of my gravestone, or cemetery, photos may be used freely as long as they are attributed in the following manner: "Photo Copyright YYYY Hank Cox, originally uploaded to Find A Grave".
Non-gravestone photos are a different story; please ask.
Since most of the memorials I've created are because I've walked a cemetery taking photos, I'm generous about transfers.
Please don't send an Ancestry.com summary of a census record, birth record, etc. and ask me to put the information in the person's bio. In my opinion, a bio should read as such, not as a list of database records.
As long as they have the proper attribution I will, with great reluctance, post obituaries in the bio section. Note: I'm confused by the Find A Grave FAQs regarding this; technically, they say "don't do this", then they say that if you do, make sure you give credit to the newspaper and that they reserve the right to remove obituaries.
Best wishes to all my Find A Grave friends.

Its a lot of work and I thank you for it. If you happen on a Alex Hall that could be Walkers father keep me in mind. I have been searching my family history for years and cannot find anything on where Alex died or is buried. Thanks Again

Are you by chance related to any of the Halls in Lexington Cemetery?
Thank you for the Photo of the Tombstone for Walker B HALL.. I am sure he is the son of Alex Hall but need to do some more digging

Once again I thank you, this time for the photos for Carlo and Emma Johnson you have posted.
I guess it does help to "cross my fingers" as you continue your project to photograph all of the monuments in A. R. Dyche!
Thank you so very much - I haven't been back to Laurel County in over 5 years, but (HOPE) to get there this summer or fall.
Thank you for your works on Find A Grave.

|Donna Gaddie||Sallie McMahan Scott|
I forgot to mention her father and mother have memorials on Findagrave.
Her Father: John Thomas McMahan # 91181773. I placed this one.
Her mother: Mattie Beaumont McMahan ay # 118926622
|Donna Gaddie||Sallie McMahan Scott # 62403951|
Sallie McMahan Scott was my Dad's cousin. His father and Sallie's father were brothers.
I have a little more information on her.
Sallie McMahan, maiden name, Scott was born Nov. 19, 1917 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. She was daughter of John Thomas McMahan and Mattie Beaumont. She died on Oct. 10, 2007. She had two brothers, Arthur McMahan (1915-1990) and William McMahan (1923-1997).

Thank you so much for the photo for Margaret Reams. I appreciate it deeply.
Have a great day, you helped to make my day better!
|Carolyn Forsythe Smith||Sallie F. McDaniel connection|
I am researching Sallie Forsythe McDaniel. The headstone appears to be new and reads 1864 but the bio says 1860. Since this is the connected mother of one of your memorials, I was wondering if the birth year could be a mistake if a new headstone was added later. All my research shows her birth as 1850. Thanks for any help you can provide. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
