Here is a death notice. Not sure if this is your guy. Strange day at the Cemetery. Found 2 memorial stones to bomber crews killed over Germany. One in a B-24 and one in a B-17. My small little Village made it contribution. Ran across a 9-11 grave too. Thoughtful day. Good luck in your search. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/newsday/obituary.aspx?n=gerald-j-oconnor&pid=96365198

Hi, if you go to Mr. Crigler's page there is an obituary already there and it does say he was in WWII.

I found the obituary for James Hoenscheidt in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, Kansas. It is a very brief obituary that unfortunately does not mention any military service. It states he was a self-employed plumber.
I'm sorry it didn't provide any information for you!

I found his Obit from December 29, 1991. The following appeared in it,
Born in Saskatchewan, Canada...
An Army Veteran of World War II, he was awarded the Silver Star, The Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Then it goes into the rest of his family. I will try to see what his Military Card has on it. I will keep you posted.
