I have been doing my families genealogy for over 20 years and came upon this site a few years back. It has been a great help in my searches for connecting to my past history. I really enjoy helping others in finding their past history and I hope the pictures and memorials I add help others in their searches.|
If possible "Please" help out your photo volunteers by obtaining the plot information from the cemetery and adding it to your request. Also if you remark that you are requesting both spouses, please submit a seperate request for each spouse. Remember you are asking the volunteers to help you on their own time. Making it easier on them means they spend less time trying to gather/research the data in trying to find the grave locations, which in turn means they can get to the cemetery to full fill your requests that much quicker.
As many of us are related to the same surnames, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are in the Find A Grave Guidelines. This means: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be YOUR siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will gladly add any information provided via the suggestion tool. Sorry folks, but family always comes first.
Oh and 1 more small thing.
ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent of the original submitter.

Hi, again, CRob ~
You DID it - and you did it well! :-)
I revisited Howard McAfee's memorial page just now, and it was only then that I saw that you had uploaded two additional pictures, showing the lovely background to his grave stone.
Then, I clicked over to Gleeda's ... just in case ... and saw that you had uploaded your pictures on her site, too! Just as I had hoped you could and would. That's great for her site, as she didn't have anything on her page yet.
THANKS YOU SO MUCH for your excellent service, your photographic talent and skills, and your willingness to contribute in this way. I am so pleased, as will be the rest of the family.
Two thumbs up for you!!!
Regards ... Teri-Sue

Thank you so much for your quick response to my photo request and for such a clear photo. I think you've just broke the timing record of all the photo requests I've made so far. Bless your heart!

Hello, C Rob ~
Thank you SO MUCH for the lovely picture of the grave stone for Howard Clayton McAfee, Jr that you created ... and so speedily, too! How very nice of you. I love this picture!
I didn't know that this was a companion stone ... and so the stone contains the name of Howard and his wife, Gleeda Mary McAfee.
Will you be able to upload the same picture to his wife's memorial page? Her's is # 102804871.
If I need to request this through regular channels and ask for you, I'll do this right away.
Sorry to put extra work on you ... but your picture is perfect for both of them.
