|Sherry||RE: Jean Sherman Lawton|
Hi Shelly, Let me start off by saying I'm sorry for your loss.
I am related thru her husband James Lawton. Yes, I added the photo but I will remove it if you don't want it on there.
I see she does have another memorial in the correct cemetery. Was everything moved from the original cemetery? No headstone or marker, etc? If there is nothing there, the Minnesota memorial should probably be deleted. If there is something, this memorial can be designated as a cenotaph.
Since this is your mother, you can send each memorial a note (use the edit tab, top right of the memorial, 6th option, and let them know you're the daughter) and they will transfer the memorials to you. You can clean them up and edit the memorials the way you want them.
I didn't post the obituary or extra information on the original memorial, the creator of the memorial did. You will have to get ahold of Jim Lee to get the brother part straightened out.
If I can help you in any way, please don't hesitate to let me know.

I was doing some genealogical work on the "May" branch of my family tree when I came across Myrtle Ann Schuster, daughter of Rosalena May. Myrtle would be my first cousing, 3x removed. When I found the birth certificate for her daughter (no father) and then when I saw that she was buried in the Austin State Hospital cemetery, I realized what a difficult life she must have had. I want to go this weekend to see if I can find her grave, although I know that most do not have gravestones there.
She is the only memorial that you manage so, perhaps you are a relative of hers? and then would also be a relative of mine? Rosalena May was the sister of Edward Joseph May, who was my gr-gr-grandfather. Edward Joseph's son, Clarence Caspar was my gr-grandfather and, CC's daughter Gloria Ann May is my grandmother (she is still living - 87 years old).
Would love to know more about Myrtle and her daughter, if you are related?

Thank you so much for locating my great-great-grandmother's grave in Sebastopol. Family history says that she died after a fall when nursing a member of her family and it appears it was probably a ruptured spleen. Her daughter, Nettie, would end up in Lovelock, Nevada, married to a Finnish immigrant.
