Bio Photo Hi, My name is Michael Parana.
I live in Southern Huntingdon County, Penna.
I do travel to the towns of Huntingdon,Mapleton,Newton~Hamilton,
Shirleysburg,Mt.Union,Orbisonia,Three Springs,Burnt Cabins,Neelyton & Shade Gap often. I as well travel to Franklin & Fulton Co's for work & sports. I have been in the area for 20 years doing research on Huntingdon Co. Civil War regiments that fought at the first days fighting at Gettysburg (in particular,the 149th Bucktails Reg't). **Note: I will transfer management of photo graves, at any time, to those who wish to do so. Thank you.

Yes, this will help. dates are slightly different, but the town of Orbisonia, Huntington county , PA. is correct and names match to my research. Thank you for continuing to research this with great effort. I would delight in the pictures. Thank you and good wishes for your research project. j

Thank you very much for your time to find and photograph this headstone. It appears from the photo you provided this in weather that most folks indoors. I will visit this site within the next 2 summers as it willbe quite a drive.

I thought the snow rubbing was a brilliant stroke. And I know a lot of people don't like winter gravestone photos but I have to say, the stones really pop against the white background and there's no shadow on a cloudy day.
