Bio Photo Hi, I've been using this to work on my family tree. If you're doing the same and have any questions, shoot me a note maybe I can help you. I also assist by taking pictures when I have time.

My family is primarily from Jackson, Overton, Putnam and White County, TN. But we are spread all over and infiltrating the whole USA.

Johnsons and Johnsons and Johnsons, Smith, Lollar, Bohannon, Allen, Gentry, Mayberry, Anderson, Dickerson, Phillips, Lynn, Harris, Henry, Finley, Hinds, Sims, Matheny, Grimsley, did I say Johnson?

RE: Allens
The Phillips name comes from Michigan. Don't really know the history. MIL was a Solden from Pennsylvania. My maiden name is Richards. My GG Grandfather, King Henderson Richards, was born in what was then Overton Co, TN but the family moved to Cumberland Co KY at some point. Cannot find his parents' information anywhere. I think they came here from (probably) Scotland but we have been unable to find ANY information on them.
Anyway, I'll be back at the cemetery soon as I have some more requests I am trying to fill. I'll post pics as I get them.

Allens
Btw I am related to the Allens...the ones who came from Hangin Dog NC around the end of the Civil War and settled in Rhea County and thereabouts. Is that your people?

RE: Cleopatra Stone
You are very welcome. Did you also want pictures of the other Colemans? I will happily go back if you do. The cemetery is only a mile away from where I live.

RE: Durham Cemetery
I'm guessing you mean the one in Jackson Cty. Excellent work - sometimes finding these old cemeteries is just a matter of luck, and sometimes it's old fashioned hard work. Congrats, Michael!
