Bio Photo "Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation." Lois Wyse (20th century)

"Life is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." S Pierce in memorial of "Woody" and Wilda Woodward.

I am a grandmother picking up the genealogy work started by my father, mother and uncle. Now, I am combining and elaborating on this work, linking my family genealogy (ancestors and descendents) and adding memorials for family and friends.

I assisted with the Centennial Chapter NSDAR project of photographing the headstones in Weld County Colorado. http://www.coloradodar.org/chapters/centennialstate/cemeteries.html

If you have family whose memorials I manage, I will be glad to transfer these to you. If you want to copy any of the photos I have posted, feel free to as long is it is not used for commercial purposes.

"Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested."

Harry Kern
Hi,
Sadly, I do not have any other info on Mr. Kerns. While working this cemetery, I discovered several of the "Sacramento County Coroner" cremains markers. Turns out that Camellia has had the contract from the county for a couple of decades (possibly even going back to 1968) to bury the indigent. The information I have is straight from the burial permit the cemetery needs to file with the state. The cremains are placed individually in a casket, labeled and mapped, before being buried. I felt this was a "black hole" for people looking for family members and want to document and honor these people.
I'm sorry I don't have further information for Mr. Kern.

I'm glad I could help. I'm trying to get the other Cobles at Morris Hill in Boise updated as I can. It will take me some time since I work full time.

RE: Coble infant
I know how it feels, getting carried away. I LOVE finding a family plot which needs photographing and linking. All the genealogists are so helpful then. And often, so are the clues on the markers. I just love this work!

Hi, KET,

I do not do genealogy. I will refer your query to the person who made the memorial, because that person DOES sometimes do genealogical research, and is from this area, which I am not.

Also, there is a Dr. Coble at the Cat Doctor in Boise. She may be aware of local family history. You could perhaps ask her. I do not know if Coble is her maiden or married name, but it would not hurt to inquire.

RE: Ruby Drennon Lindsey vs. Ada Smith

Sorry for my confusion I should have referred to Ruby Dennon Lindsey. Took me a minute to figure it out.

RE: Ada "Ruby" Smnith

You are very welcome. Happy you like the picture.

I recently took over 7000 photos in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. I have added over 4700 new memorial pages and the percent photographed has gone from 53% to over 90%(soon).

It has been fun.

Thank you for your kind words.
