"EVERYONE WAS LOVED BY SOMEONE, |
NO ONE SHOULD BE FORGOTTEN"
I have been interested in Geneaology for over 35 years. I was very excited to find someone I was looking for on this site, which led me to add entries of my own. I hope that I have also helped someone in their quest.
I've tried to be accurate on all of my entries, but if you find an error, please use the edit tab on that memorial, and I will be happy to make corrections or additions to the information.
Please do not ask for transfers unless they are within the guidelines. I would be more than happy to add information and you are more than welcome to add pictures.
From the Find A Grave Guidelines:
The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away,regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.

|Michigan mother||RE: isaac ordway|
I just took a look at the two memorials that you wrote to me about, for Isaac Ordway and notice the one that I was writing about is a different memorial number than the two you have cited.
This one is 33293052 created Jan. 26, 2009, and the originator has the same man's vitals, birth date, death date but he has him in a different cemetery. I have entered some edits and who knows. The whole thing may resolve itself.
You can see how duplicates can mess up the linkage, etc. Any ideas from you are appreciated.

You are correct and I apply that rule for the most part. There are times when my memorial was put on first and someone later enters a duplicate that has so much more on it and they have a connection, so I just transfer any photo etc of mine and delete mine. Less fuss and everyone is happy.
Thank you for your interest and reminding me of the rule. Michigan mother
Thank you for the info.

|Pamela Bollinger||transfer of memorials|
Hi, I am trying to link my aunts, uncles with parents etc. I was wondering if you could transfer my father's sister and her husband to me. They are Marjorie Thomsen #14190113 and William Thomsen 14190117. I would appreciate it so much. I appreciate that you have gotten them onto this site. Thank you.... Pam Bollinger
|EEBJ||Anthony Eckhart transfer|
Thank you for your transfer of Anthony Eckhart. I greatly appreciate your prompt response. I'm working on family trees printouts for Christmas gifts. Is it OK if I use your gravestone photo? Also, may I use it in my online Ancestry tree? I will give you credit for the photograph.
Thanks for all your contributions to Find-a-Grave.
