I have been searching for family since 1975.My Dad's people are most all from Morgan co Tenn. Sir names are White,Price, Von Faustner/Forstner, Woolum, Freytag, Bryant, Hall. Sir name White I have no idea where they came from. Have Native American heritage with White and Hall. Von Faustner/Forstner is German as is Freytag, Woolum maybe yes maybe not. White sir name is also in Macoupin Co Ill along with the sir name of Weatherford from Kentucky. Hall,Price and White also in Osage co Miss. My Mom's people are from mostly Pulaski Co, Ky. Newby, Wise, Wiseman. My husbands people are from Alabama,Walton co, Fla. Davis. I was born in Danville, Ky but lived in Somerset,Ky and later moved to Orlando, Florida. Now in Tennessee and loving to be back in my mountains. I have a ton of grave stone pictures waiting to be posted. Hope they are a help to all. Please feel free to let me know about corrections. I post late at night and sometimes get them wrong. Will transfer unless it is my kin, but will be glad to post any verified information. I DO NOT MIND HELPING ANYONE WHO ASKS. BUT WHEN YOU DO ASK ME OR ANYONE ELSE PLEASE LIST ALL THE INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND. THAT WAY I AM NOT WAISTING MY TIME AND YOURS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE. I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES. J

James Rutherford
I was given the wrong James Rutherford. Please re-request the photo of the grave and I will make sure I get the correct person.

RE: Sam Hall relative
Thank you.
Yes, Thomas Jefferson Hall was my dad (buried in his home town of Monterey).
I am just trying to see if there is a connection to Sam Hall.
I was not close to my dad's family. He had 13 brothers and sisters, with just 1 still living.
My father in law tells me that Sam was an Indian that chose Hall as his name. Also, he supposedly sired a number of children. I have visited the headstone in the field. It is very interesting.
Bob Jones, my father in law, also had an article that was done many years ago on Sam Hall.
I guess we all related in some way.
I will continue to research on this site and appreciate your input now or in the future.

RE: Kathleen Trettenero
Any information would be great.
I has gone to Nashville for my wife's business trip, so I went out taking photos of Williamson Memorial, which was close by. So it was just an accident that I took hers. When I go out, I try to take all headstone photos, especially if the percentage of photos is very low.

Sam Hall relative
Sam Hall is my father in laws great great grandfather. His name is James Bobby Jones and lives in Fairfield Glade, but family roots are in Morgan/Roane/Cumberland.
He has taken us to that grave many times.
It is possible that I may be related to Sam as well. My maiden name was Hall (Julie Elizabeth)and my roots are in Cumberland, Putnam and Roane cty.

Love this site.

Hi J,

I have noticed what you have said but I am new to this so I make mistakes. Next time I am out there I'll try to remember to photograph that one again.

Thanks.

Pansie Mai Beaty
The Pansie Mai Beaty that I have listed in Eli Hinds Cemetery is my Aunt - my mothers sister. The cemetery is named Eli Hinds Cemetery because it was on his land.
The other 2 I don't know about
