I found this site totally by mistake. When i found it, some of my husbands family were already in it, but with no pictures of their headstones. I happened to have recently taken a few of those pictures. Then I was hooked. I am trying to add as much of my family as I can. I was able to go on 1 trip to get some photo's, but I won't be able to do that again anytime soon. So with that in mind, I am slowly trying to get as many pictures as I can here in the local area, and helping others get pictures of those they have requested. Now I have my husband helping me too. We find it relaxing to go to the cemetery's and take photo's. Hopefully if the time ever comes when I need somebody to get a photo for me, that person will be there.|

Thank you for the name. We will add him/her to our list so (s)he will have a flag placed on the grave for Memorial Day. It is not required they be on Find A Grave, just served in the military, peace or war time and be buried at Westlawn-Hillcrest.
Please let others know of this project sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326. The more people that know about it, the more complete our list will be. We know many that served in the military have no indication of their service on their grave.

Thanks for taking the photo of my father-in-law's headstone. We don't have one for some reason, and since I was unable to attend his funeral, I hadn't seen it until now. It's the Harold Lupton one btw. Wonderful work that you are doing. Many times the only link backward is through the information on headstone photos like the ones you are submitting so I appreciate your efforts very much!

Thank you so much, your efforts helped me to find a long lost arm of my family history which would never have happened without those markers. I'm sure you've helped countless others as well and so extend my gratitude for us all...

Thanks for participating in Find A Grave. I've been a beneficiary of the work you do. I appreciate you posting headstone photos.
