After retirement from being an elementary school teacher, I have become more involved in genealogy. Visiting cemeteries has helped me complete some missing facts of my ancestors. Since it is impossible to visit all the locations where ancestors are buried, I have found findagrave.com to be a way to see the stones of many of my ancestors.|
Memorials that I have in Newton, Barry, and McDonald Counties, Missouri, and Ottawa County, Oklahoma, are not related to me. I have found these stones walking cemeteries and taking photos of the stones. Memorials that I maintain in Jasper County, Missouri, are not related to me. I would be happy to transfer any of these memorials to family members. The reason that I have added photos is to help families find their ancestors.
Please do not post death certificates or obits in the photo section of memorials that I maintain. I would like for this space to be available for descendants to add personal photos. Thank you for helping with this.

I wish they could have a feature that notifies a person when they do something like that, thank you for transferring them
Are you related to the Hirshey's in the Pepsin cemetery? I was just curious, since it seems that after they had been transferred to me they have been transferred to you now.

Thank you for the photo of Isaac Johnson's headstone! I appreciate your time and trouble.

Would you please transfer the following two memorials to me?
Andrew Jackson Thomas (#8143689)--my great-grandfather
Mary Alice Fleming Thomas (#8143649)--my great-grandmother
By the way, about 3 years ago we searched the Odd Fellows' Cemetery on foot also and finally found these graves on the top of the hill; they were tipped over next to their son, Bryan's, marker. I'm descended from their daughter Fleta, who was born in Neosho in what is now the historical museum.
Thank you! And thanks also for helping my husband. I think he needs to get his own account...

I believe that Find a Grave Memorial #66535848 has the wrong father for Nathalee E. Smith. I believe her father was William Clementine (Clem/Clemy) Thomas (February 3, 1869, Granby, Missouri - April 25, 1944, Neosho, Missouri)[Find A Grave Memorial# 9026029]. My wife is descended from William's brother, Andrew Jackson Thomas. Martha Pearl Green first married William Thomas and later married Ralph B. Johnson. The 1930 Census listed Nathalee as the daughter of William and Pearl Thomas, and the 1940 Census listed Nathalee as married to Edward Brewer and living with Ralph and Pearl Johnson. I do not know when Nathalee married Kenneth Smith. My wife's aunt (now 86)remembers William and Pearl Thomas and Nathalee.

Hi I am new to this . Yes Bonnie was married to Larry. Larry is still alive but Bonnie passed away around 2002-4. She lived her life in Peoria Illinois.
I don't know the answer to the other question but can find out.

I am very sorry about the mistake. Please let me know how to delete the message. My address is gwenbj@seanetcom
|Judy K. Roberts||Obits|
Personally, I don't mind obits, they do have a lot of info in them. I know that Find A Grave will take them off of memorials. I also think on unmarked graves a generic missing head stone photo would work! I will post what ever I can to the memorial from the obit you sent. Thank you for taking the time to find it. If you are related, send thru the edit on memorial a request and be sure to give me your contributor number. Have a great evening!
