Welcome! Just to let you know, most of my family roots are in Kentucky; so, if related, I am more than happy to transfer the memorial pages I have created. I love to reunite families with their loved ones. If needed, feel free to use the photographs I have posted on Find A Grave for your personal ancestry documentation. If so inclined, you can always give credit for the source.
I stumbled upon the following poem and thought it was so succinct in describing why we do what we do. . .
THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY
BY THELMA GREENE REAGAN
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where others cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hallowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

I'm sorta downsizing. I transferred all the Twitty family.
|Graver Gal||Kenneth Twitty|
I got the correction for Kenneth and the family. All done. I hope it is all corrected.
The Twitty family in not related to me so even though the relationship is distant to you, I can transfer any or all (you will have to give me a list).
I personally would rather family have them.

Hi Patty. Thanks! It's #47247110.
Also, I received your message about Meriwether Adams's memorial and I understand the problem. It's OK. I think I'm still a member and may pursue that with TMS later...
Again, many thanks for creating many of my family's memorials, and for your willingness to transfer this one to me!

Hi Patty. I haven't been an Ancestry member for very long and am just now discovering all that it offers. Thanks so much for creating this memorial for my maternal great grandmother!If you'd transfer maintenance for this memorial to me, I'd happily take care of it!

There is a 1901 book by the same name. There is no Henry W. Smith or Julia M. Shreve listed.
I found it in Google books here:

Unable to find a reference for the middle name of William. Can you please refer me to a source for this information? Thank you for your help.

Judge Meriwether F. Adams was my paternal grandfather. I never knew him because he died before I was born. I'd love to take over this memorial - it'd feel a little like I was doing something for him. If you'd be willing to turn it over to me, I'd be grateful. Just tell me what I need to do.
Thanks so much for creating his memorial!
Dorothy J. Adams
