Hello, and welcome to my profile page. I'm a retired USN aviator, a native of Los Angeles and a survivor of the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon. I am very blessed to be living in Rancho Santa Fe, California, with my lovely lady and our beloved canine and equine children, not to mention two Harley's and an Indian "Chief Vintage" motorcycle.|
After more than ten years as a member here, I've seen my share of silly, even childish exchanges over things that have nothing to do with the purpose of this very special place. It's sad but true that I rarely come here anymore because of these issues, and I sincerely hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else. PLEASE remember that this is a cemetery and it should be treated as such, with dignity and care.
Have a great visit.

Good day, and thank you so much for writing such a beautiful message on his grave.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but did you know him in real life?

If you are talking about Marci Farnsworth King, she is my sister-in-law. I married her older brother Brad. I believe she graduated HS in 1976. Gardenia High I think?

It was my pleasure to transfer your grandmother. I transferred a couple more that you sponsored a few minutes ago.

Thank you for your kindness in sponsoring Audine's memorial. I have transfered your grandmother over to your care.
Have a great day

Thank you and your son so much for your service to our country and a happy veterans day to you all!!
|alan wasserman||LT Dolly vinsant|
I had just read your last contribution to the LT Dolly Vinsant memorial page here on this sight, before reading your profile I had thought that you might of been a world war 2 veteran possibly someone whom had known her during her years of service. I was just thinking to myself that it would of been interesting to see contributions posted here by some world war 2 vets that had remembered being cared for by her on one of her many courageous mission flights during the war. A very brave woman and an example for young people to follow today.

I am a news reporter in the Rio Grande Valley and am trying to do a story about Dolly Vinsant. A local foundation is asking a reward for the return of the portrait of her you posted on this site. They could not provide a picture of the portrait, but we found it on this si Where did you find the picture and can you give us permission to use it on TV?
Email me at email@example.com if you can. Thank you so much.

Saw your note about Kobayashi. I agree with U. My relative shot him down. He was what we call in 2013 a terrorist looking out for an unjust gang of gangsters at the time. Nothing redeeming about it. I dislike the youngsters who pretend to understand the past.
