I was born in 1952 in Oklahoma and grew up as an Air Force brat in the south and southwest. My mother's family was from Oklahoma and my father's from Georgia. I had occasion to be around extended family in both places which sparked an early interest in family history. If you find anything helpful in my postings, please feel free to use it. If you have questions, I'll try to answer them.

Dixon Family Search
Hi Terri,
My name is Brenda Auer. My mothers madien name is Dixon. I have once again hit a brick wall in my research. Do you have any information that you would be willing to share about my great great grandfather Joseph Kinman Dixon?

Thank you for posting on find a grave. My parents live in Dublin GA so I am looking forward to visiting the Bethany cemetary on my next trip.

There's nothing to it, what happens is that the memorial shows you as the manager, and you become the only person allowed to edit the information. If someone has an update or something, they contact you, just like you contacted me, and then you can decide if it's something that should be included. Many people also like it because it allows them to have a connection to deceased friends and relatives.

My group's whole reason for being is to remember those who have been forgotten, and connecting families with each other and still living relatives through Find A Grave is one of the ways we try to accomplish this.

Best regards,
