Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm addicted to Genealogy so my wife says. I've been doing it for about fifteen years. Taking pictures of all the kin I never got to meet. We were told we were the last of the Reece's "NOT"!! I started out with about ten names and have over six thousand five hundred. I'm really glad there are people who will help you with your research. FindAGrave is another tool for newcomers to Genealogy and Veterans. If you find any errors or would like for us to correct the info that was supplied to us please use the edit tab then the suggest a correction (SAC) bar.

My brother Jim & I are currently working on all the NC Vietnam KIA/MIA's Grave sites. After 8 years of searching, we've located all of the resting places for these brave men & women who paid the ultimate price, over 1900 of them. This doesn't mean we are idle. Now we are looking for their photos. The search for all Vietnam KIA/MIA's goes on.

You can try me at treece6818@aol.com if the Yahoo doesn't work

Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland
1Lt Sidney Slotoroff - 60th Troop Carrier Group
1st Lieutenant Sidney Slotoroff was pilot of a C-47 tail number 41-18418 and participated in "operation Fustion". The mission was dropping British paratroopers during the night of 13-14 July 1943 on a dropzone south of Catania, Sicily.
The plane was shot down by enemy anti-aircraft fire.
All crewmembers were killed and buried in the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily, Lieutenant Slotoroff was buried in grave H-88-1047. After the war he was reburied in grave J-8-44 of the Sicily Rome Cemetery, Nettuno [Italy]

I am writing a book about the GELA Cemetery, where over 1,200 men and women were buried between July 1943 and April 1947. Hope to finish my book this year, 2015

You posted his picture on findagrave.com and I would like to ask you if I have your permission to use the picture for my project. You will credited and informed when the book is finished

thank you
