|Yvonne Birchett||Mary Ann Everett Monroe # 68321835|
I was wondering if you are related to this family? I initially came up with DNA matches to both the Monroe girls (Mary Ann & Sarah) who married Everetts (Jackson & Samuel). Mary and her husband have since fallen off my genealogical radar, but Jackson Everett & Sarah Monroe remain.
Here's my quandary - for any who see this, feel free to contact me.
My earliest known relative is Alvin Everett b. 1828-8 in MS. died after 1900, probably in Henderson TX. Alvin was very likely in Newton in 1850. John Reese (who I found on the 1850 census in Newton, living with his parents) and Alvin migrated to Henderson TX and are shown on the 1860 TX census living together, along with Alvin's 1st (unk) wife and child.
As I match both the Monroe's and the Everett's DNA, I'm pretty sure Alvin is one of their children, perhaps born out of wedlock prior to their marriage and subsequent children.
I have searched the family members and find no trace of Alvin living with any of them. I DO keep getting hints on a Marquis Lafayette Everett, but this isn't the same person, though they have the same BD.
Just wondering if you or anyone who sees this may be able to shed some light on Alvin's parentage.

Thanks for not making Josiah's grandparents Nicholas and Mary as shown on Josiah's father John's grave. FYI Y DNA update: Now have Asa and Lewis descendants matching Y DNA with my Cader and two Josiah descendants and Three Nicholas descendants who matched each other but not John's descendants.

|Thomas Scott||Margaret Jack's middle name|
Margaret's middle name was Evalina and not Elizabeth. I am the great grandson of Thomas Francis Scott. Thomas was the son of Francis Tomkies Scott and his third wife, Nancy (Walton) Scott.In 1999 through 2001 I corresponded with Dr. Charley Scott through letters and phone calls. Charley, now deceased,was an excellent researcher and authority on the Scott and Jack families living in Kemper and Noxubee counties during the 1800s. He was the g grandson of Patrick Jack Scott, born in 1837. Patrick was the only child of Margaret and Frank's marriage. In two different exchanges of information Charley referred to Margaret as Margaret Evalina Jack. Respectfully, Thomas Scott

|BJ Johnson||Wealthy Speed|
I have a Wealthy Smith married to William Bancum. Wealthy is listed on the Mobile 1880 census. Living with her is Charles H. Smith her nephew and Alonzo Smith and Mattie Smith (my ggm). Can you help me unscramble this? Thank you in advance.
|Cindi Juliano||Kelsey Calvin Biggs|
Kelsey Calvin Biggs was the son of James Pinkney Biggs and Violet Dixon (Ware/Pierce Co., GA). His parents were married on Jan 1, 1946 in NC.
My Aunt, Dorothy Dixon Rowell McKinnon of Waycross, GA told me that her sister Violet's first marriage was to James Pinkney Biggs and they had son Kelsey Calvin who was born in Birmingham, AL. Aunt Dorothy said that James Biggs took his son when he was only 18 mos. old from the family's front yard. His mother Violet never saw him again though she looked for him her entire life and when she found him he had already died in 1987. I don't know when James P. Biggs and Violet divorced but they couldnt have been married long. If you can add Violet Dixon to Rev James Biggs and Kelsey Calvin Biggs memorial sites it would be appreciated.
Thank you, Cindi Juliano, a first cousin to Kelsey Biggs
