RE: James Washburn
I agree with your premise actually and always found it strange that James' mother should be such a mystery in a time when things were well documented in a family so well documented. I was just curious as to whether you found some kind of documentation. Having both James' mother and second wife the biggest missing links in that tree has always been a strange coincidence. Having received acceptance for my theory that WIFE Maria was Maria Fuller and more researchers willing to accept Gideon & Mary as parents puts some very missing links in place. Thank you. RE: Collins Family
Thank you so much, Jonathan! Do you know who the couple to the left of John & Lucy Jane are? Could that be Answorth Collins and Clarissa??

RE: Collins Family
Thank you so much, Jonathan. They wouldn't happen to have any more pics would they? Or did they have any idea what year that was taken? I can only guess taking into consideration that Lucy Jane had died in 1891. Would love to know which babies Ellen and Elizabeth were holding. :) It was a surprise to see how tiny and frail Elizabeth looked and to think she had like a dozen kids. lol

Thanks again!

RE: Thelma Harriman
The two I have are Benjamin Frank Harriman and Clara Gaines his wife. He is the son of Warren Harriman and Sarah Whipple. Not sure if he is in your line or not

RE: Thelma Harriman
You are welcome! I am not about the numbers. I just want to make sure everyone is remembered.

I am in the process of logging the memorials into the cemetery and noticed you had one of the Harrimans. I have 2 more at that cemetery if you want to manage them. If you see any others from this cemetery I may have and you are researching, let me know. I also only live 15 minutes from the cemetery. If you need any photos, let me know.

I am still only in the H's and have a long way to go.

Valerie

McKeage
Some more info you might like:
Aircraft was RB-36H Sr# 52-1369.
There were 23 in crew.
4 survived crash.Of these, 2 bailed out and 2 survived ditching
There were 5 confirmed dead. They were: Mulheron,Collins,Hunter,Yeoman and Ellis.
Remaining 14 were missing and presumed dead.
S/Sgt McKeage was included in this list.
They were in low pressure storm area at time of ditching ,causing altimeter error. Probably some who bailed out were too low for chute to open. I talked to survivor ,Parker, who bailed out. He said he hit water the instant his chute opened.
Will send copy of casualty report. Old memeograph, but maybe you can read it.

Gerald McKeage
Added note to this memorial #Find A Grave#106274624.
Recall McKeage, who was radio operator. I knew his Aircraft Commander Maj. Beam well.I flew with this crew several times as second radio/gunner.
I was on Maj Pratt's crew when we flew Travis to Lakenheath about two weeks after Maj Beam's ditching. Maj Beam had one of best crews in 72 SRS.
