Ooops! Sorry, I meant to type that James E. Bird was interred here at the age of 52, not 47!
Ok, I can conclusively declare that Edna does not have an existing marker. I combed Section G, Block 27 today, there is maybe 20 graves in this section, as per my cemetery records, which I obtained from the Evergreen Memorial Historical Society. There are a few obvious headstone gaps in the rows, and two monuments that have been broken off from the bottom. I took an area photo which I will upload to her page.
Regarding James Bird, I know exactly the section he is buried in, its right across the street from Edna, in Section R, I will get to that hopefully tomorrow. According to cemetery records, he was interred here on May 26, 1947, at the age of 47. His middle initial is listed as 'E.'. No other information is listed, such as mortuary or place, city of death.
We are expecting 'torrential rains' here in So. Cal., which could probably mean we might get a whole inch. I will prepare for the flooding, lol..
I will be in touch soon!

You are most welcome.
I am still trying to find Edna Birds marker. I don't know if this is any help, but there is a James Bird also buried here, he was born in 1895.
I will be heading out again today before the rain comes to look for Edna.

You are most welcome. I think you had included either a note or a request for Muriel, and since she is right next to Zina, this was easy to photograph (see the caption on the more panoramic shot -- I usually try to label them with the order of the markers). And since Hyder was right there too, I photographed this marker as well. I usually try to look for same-surname markers in the spaces immediately adjoining. I'm glad I was able to help yesterday. -- Sandra

Its been raining all day today so I didnt make it to Evergreen. I will try again tomorrow before the rain starts in the afternoon. And its no trouble, the cemetery is maybe a mile and a half from my house! :)

I searched today for a headstone or monument for Edna Bird, buried at Evergreen Memorial in Riverside. She is buried in Section G, which is really small, just a handful of marked graves and many unmarked. I could not find any marker for her. I will however, go back tomorrow and search again, and verify with the office. I will be in touch tomorrow.

Thank you so much for leaving flowers for my beloved Dad, Leonard Rodig! # 164857784. I miss him so much. He would be proud to know his UW Football Huskies will play Alabama! I will have to add some pictures of him rooting for Washington in earlier days!
Thank you again. Your message warmed my heart!
