Like most, my interest began with my own family tree and has now expanded in an attempt to help others just getting started or to those who cannot travel to the cemeteries themselves. I have been working on my own family lines since 1991 and have enjoyed every bit of it. For those who know, it is more than a hobby, it's a life love. Thank you to those who have helped me and I hope to pass it on and do the same for others. |

Thanks for the photo. I appreciate so much all that the volunteers on this site do. Thank you seems like such a small thing for all that you did here.

Hi Johnny, Sending you boatloads of appreciation. You are one of the good guys. Pat

Thanks for doing so. Do you ever find that if you search findagrave for a certain memorial, that it sometimes does not come up in said search? Leading to duplicates. So frustrating.
I do appreciate all you do for findagrave.

Hi, Johnny! Thank you so much for your sweet note, I'm glad you like that sunset elk statue photo. I was lucky to live just a few blocks from the cemetery back then (nearly 3 years ago, yikes!), and as that sunset started to develop I sensed it would be something special and knew just where I needed to be to photograph it! So I grabbed my camera and sped there on my bike - took several photos as that sunset got more and more breathtaking and have one that is even better than the one I posted here. Only reason I didn't post it too is because you can't see any of the cemetery in it. It's just all sunset & statue - but what a sunset. If you're interested, I'll put all my elk statue pics in a Flickr album & see if I can share a link to them with you here. I'm going to try to upload another one to the cemetery page too, a pretty one I took one Memorial Day.
Anyway, thanks again for your kind message! :-)

Hi Johnny - No problem. I am working the McMullen clan right now - they are in my late husband's tree - and I noticed the conflict as well. I will look at all the census records for both brothers and let you know. The respondent on death certificates was not always correct as you know and I believe this to be the case. Thanks for checking! Kris

I have added specific birth and death dates sourced from his death certificate posted on Ancestry, and well as linked him to his parents Jesse Webster and Elizabeth Lukens who were buried in Bart Cemetery in Lancaster County.
Thank you for the additional information.
