I am fascinated by families and their roots. My roots run deep in Fremont County Colorado where eight generations have lived in the same county.

See where you have a photo request for this person in the Hagerman, New Mexico Cemetery. There is already a photo for this person; has been on the memorial listing since 2006.

RE: Verde Burnette
You are very welcome! I do enjoy going out to Union Highland Cemetery. I took pictures of the map hanging on the outside of the garage. I can pinpoint gravesites now, with the use of their book. Picture taking is MUCH easier now!

RE: Bessie Thompson
Hello Pamela Sue; It was my pleasure to take the photograph of the Greenwood Pioneer Cemetery entrance, however, I did not take the photograph of the headstone for Bessie Thompson. The photo of the actual headstone was taken by someone named "Alice".
I certainly would be glad to take another photograph of her cemetery plot if you would like me to though, especially since we've had lots of rain lately and the "natural" grasses in the cemetery are mostly green now. Wishing you well, Andrea

RE: McCandless Headstone
Karen Burns posted the close-up headstone picture of Byron, I only posted the picture of the 3 grave markers in the plot, but you're welcome. Glad to help.

It was my pleasure. One thing though, the data on this website is wrong, as you can see from the gravesite photo. I included both of the neighboring monuments to corroborate what I mentioned about the date of birth.

I hope that clarifies things.

John Shellhorn
I will be happy to take the photo of John Shellhorn's memorial stone for you, but it may be a while, since it is nasty weather here right now, bad wind and snow. Also since he died in 1893, he may not have a stone as it seems the person who entered him on Find A Grave would have taken the photo, if indeed there was one. I will check into it.

Anna Yeo Webb
I was not sure if you noticed the little grave marker next to Anna's. It is for an infant, Mark E Webb - son of NH and AJ Webb. I was thinking the AJ must be Anna. I posted the photo on his memorial.

Harriet Rebecca Green
I also did the photo for Harriet (memorial #79508089). Next to her is a stone for Olive May Green that I believe is her daughter as it reads dau of A. L. and H. R.
The other Greens that should be in the Old Cemetery section are Harman, Lizzie and Roy (79507512, 79506596, 79508775) but there are no stones for them.

Samuel and Mary E. Cronk
Hi Pamela,

I have provided the photo's you requested for Samuel and Mary E. Cronk. 2 of their children are also buried in the same cemetery. Mary Estella, who was apparently their 1st child is buried by them (memorial #86676095) and Armon S. (memorial #79504968). I created the one for Mary Estella and will gladly transfer it to you. I had a better picture of her stone, but it got corrupted. Next time I am up there I will retake it.
