Bio and Links
Bio Photo I found out about FAG through a relative and I've been hooked ever since!

If I have a family member of yours that you would like to have transferred, I will be glad to do so as long as they aren't related to me. Or if not, and you just want to add biographical info, or link them to another family member, then I will take care of it promptly for you.

Please use the "edit" feature on the FAG memorial that you wish to have additions/corrections made to, and or transferred.

My pictures are your pictures. Feel free to beg, borrow, steal with no intent to return. I take pictures of headstones out of kindness ... not for my ego or for the "numbers."

If my numbers being upside down bothers you then it's your problem, not mine. I am currently managing memorials for several FAG friend's who want to downsize.

PLEASE, NO COPIES OF DEATH CERTIFICATES ON MY MEMORIALS! THANKS

For my Bill, with much love.
AN ALZHEIMER'S POEM

DO NOT ASK ME TO REMEMBER
DON'T TRY TO MAKE ME UNDERSTAND.

LET ME REST AND KNOW YOU'RE WITH ME.

KISS MY CHEEK AND HOLD MY HAND.
I'M CONFUSED BEYOND YOUR CONCEPT.

I AM SAD AND SICK AND LOST.
ALL I KNOW IS THAT I NEED YOU
TO BE WITH ME AT ALL COST.

DO NOT LOSE YOUR PATIENCE WITH ME,
DO NOT SCOLD OR CURSE OR CRY
I CAN'T HELP THE WAY I'M ACTING.

I CAN'T BE DIFFERENT THOUGH I TRY.

JUST REMEMBER THAT I NEED YOU.

THAT THE BEST OF ME IS GONE.

PLEASE DON'T FAIL TO STAND BESIDE ME,

LOVE ME UNTIL MY LIFE IS DONE.

Mary E Lambert # 82474502
Hi Caroloyn,
If you are not kin to Mary E Lambert, I'd appreciate having her memorial transferred to me. She is my grandfather's sister. Her maiden name was Forester and she had two husbands: T A Patterson (Married in 1885) and following his death, she married John Robert Lambert on 20 May 1899.

Thank you,
Suzanne Forester Stein # 96204776

Thanks for your message.
She has only one memorial that I see.
Please see this on her memorial:

Best,

If her name appears twice on her husband's memorial, you will need to contact the findagrave administrators. There is nothing I can do about that.

Hi Carolyn,
I declined the request because you did not provide a source / documentation for the addition. I searched for the information myself, but could not find it. When people provide supporting information for the change I try to act within a very short time frame. Unfortunately since Ancestry took over Find A Grave they have introduced slip-shod systems. It would have been easy to incorporate a section in the edit to include the reference. They didn't bother. Furthermore the name of the person who submitted the edit addition is not included. It's no wonder that people are complaining about the ridiculous family trees that are appearing on Ancestry. I fear that Find A Grave is rapidly heading in a similar direction. I will certainly not just ignore the suggested edit lapse for 30 days, and let Ancestry automatically make the change without some record of who made the change. That is ridiculous. You may be aware that I have again declined the changes you suggested, without reference sources, via the edits tab. Regards, Russ

Hi Carolyn, Merry Christmas! I have added a photo to your sponsored memorial of Ed. What an interesting biography. Let me know if you don't think the photo is him. The photo was in the Camp Barkeley, Texas (Class 26 Nov. 1943) yearbook in my father's belongings I found after he passed away. We were very close, but he never spoke of his experiences in the war. I am adding as many photos as I can from the yearbook to Find A Grave that seem that they match. The photo indicates enlistment from Ingleside, TX. My father was in the Medical Administrative Corp during WWII. Loretta

Hi, Carolyn!
I haven't gotten around to figuring out what level of grandmother she is to me yet (I still have some gaps and questions), but I think it's about the same as yours. Thank you so much for all this information because I had never even gotten this far with this line before, had never seen the name Jorden in the records. The thing that is really messing me up is getting Britton (varied spellings) story straightened out. I'd like to know where he is from, etc., but it seems to me that he had a son named after him who somehow ended up in the census with a May family with whom his father had at one time lived. I can imagine many reasons for this, but I know nothing for sure, nor do I know which Britton Addison moved to Angelina County and became my great-great grandfather (I think.). He was the grandfather, I think, of my grandmother, Cassie Addison Russell, but it is really hard to root out any information on that line. Even finding this is a real breakthrough. So, thanks, cousin!

I am Cassie Ella Henderson Wilson, born and raised in Nacogdoches and, after a few moves, now live in Rowlett, TX, near Dallas. If you have anything more that you're willing to share, I would love reading it, but I feel as if I'm taking advantage of you anyway. Are you acquainted with any of the Addisons or Russells from Huntington or Angelina County? I'm afraid that the family I knew there is all gone or else they would be very old now (I am, I know). I was foolish to wait too long to get started on this work.

Have a pleasant day!

You added Harriett Chisholm, along with her husband, Bradford A.R.H. Chisholm, and I would like to know if saw the actual gravesite, whether there was a headstone, and do you take any photos when you add someone to Find A Grave. Thank you very much.

RE: Dortha Burnett
That is fine.So many memorials are created by people who don't even know the individuals. I was also related, though her husband, Leslie, was the one I was blood related to. Would you mind sending me information for my Family Tree Maker records of her descendants? Her obituary lists their sons but the grandchildren, I don't know which belongs to which son. You can send this to my personal email if you prefer. The lat time I was in Beaumont, she was still living.

I remember when they used to visit my family. Their sons were close to my age and we had so much fun together. They would come up from Beaumont to the Fort Worth area to visit all the relatives who lived in this part of Texas. Still have lots of memories.

Thank you.
