I have enjoyed researching my family ancestors. I have been doing genealogy for about 15 years or more. And I never seem to get tired of working on it. I have gained not only distant relatives that I didn't know about - but also have obtained family photos that I didn't know even were out there. I have 2 very good friends that are willing to do genealogy with me and explore cemeteries just to obtain information that we need. Working on both my ancestors and my husband's ancestors has been an adventure that I truly enjoy.

My family names include - Fite, Ellis, Turner, Hux, Noble, Harrison, Fountain, Hightchew, Williams, Bailey, Frakes, Hood, McGlone, and Buckingham.

RE: Betty Jean Miller....
Thanks Linda. I do recall the stories of the wild antics of our Great Uncle Fritz. I'll update all the info I have and perhaps it can help in your research as well. Thanks again - Steve

New "Fite" family connections
Hi Linda: While I don't know you, I can see that we are related in some manner through the ancestry of the "Fite" lineage. I have only recently found this site and was entering some information I have on my mother (Betty Jean Crouch-Miller) who was the daughter of Myrtle A. Fite-Crouch, when I saw that you had posted some basic information on my mom and dad, John Miller Jr. along with a pic of their tombstone in Alex.

Anyway I just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks for doing that, and wanted to let you know that I had already begun entering some historical data of my family line under the memorial site number 132163291 I started becoming more and more obsessed with this search, so you may want to check back later to see how we connect. Thanks again - Steve Miller

RE: Jesse Fite in Buford Cem....
Hi Linda,

I don't have any primary documents on Jesse Fite. I am a descendant of the Fites and often think of how prolific they were. Are you on tmason41 has done extensive research on the Fites of Brown County, Ohio, as has Judy Sabin.

RE: Phillip and Eva Rank
Thanks for letting me know. No apology necessary. I know how difficult it is to find headstones, especially when they are difficult to read. Thanks again for your time. Louise

I just posted pictures of his stone. I am not sure that either one is the right one. If they are not correct, let me know and I will remove them. I couldn't make out what was on the stones.

Dan Zody
I would like to thank you for taking the time, not once but twice, trying to locate a monument for Dan Zody. Your time is very much appreciated.
