Hello my name is Melissa Clayton Key I am married to Michael Key we live in Henry Co, Tn and have 3 boys Andrew, Alex and Aaron, We also a wonderful granddaughter her name is Serenity Rose |
I love doing Family Research I have been doing it for 19 years and have ties all over West TN if you need help let me know.
If you have things to add or correct anything, please let me know and I'll do it asap.
Please contact me if I have memorials that you want transferred I will be glad to do if they are DIRECTLY RELATED to you (PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, and BROTHERS and SISTERS)
PLEASE do not ask for me to transfer whole cemeteries to you, I am happy to add information.
When my memorials are entered first please do not ask me to delete them if you have pictures to add, add them to the one that is already there please.
Please don't DOUBLE memorials in Cemeteries it makes it confusing for some people if I entered them in F.A.G. first I will ask Find A Grave to merge the duplicates, so please ask for help. I work real hard on Find A Grave entering names and pictures. If I make the mistake I will gladly delete mine, The most of the people I do enter are related to me or my husband, Thank You for looking and have fun with your research I know I do.

Because so many people add data to Find A Grave, there are often duplicate cemeteries and duplicate memorials added. This is a very common situation and is quite difficult to resolve in a way that keeps everyone happy. Before adding a memorial, you should search the cemetery to see if a record with that name has already been added. If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial you should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial.

Melissa..sent same message to your email.
A lady at the Henry County Archive and Genealogy Library looked for my family members in the Cooper Cemetery to see if they were listed. She did not find David Bradley or any Bradleys in Cooper Cemetery in her records for this cemetery. She then told me that a woman named Melissa Key had walked all the cemeteries in the county and had listed all those with grave markers on Findagrave and if Melissa had listed them, they had a grave marker and she had photographed it. This information was very confusing to me because David Bradley is listed by you in Cooper Cemetery in Henry County, TN., but he does not have a grave marker photo, nor do any of the other Bradleys listed in this cemetery. Would you please clarify for me, whether David and the other Bradleys have markers that could be photographed and if so, would you be willing to do so if I put in a request? Thanks so much for helping me understand whether these family members have grave markers.
Secondly, I also asked her about the Fowler family listed in the Old Fowler Burying Ground, also in Henry County, TN. She had no record for this cemetery at all. The burials were listed by someone based on the book "Annals of the Fowler Family" @1901. Would you have any information about where this cemetery might be located? Burials were in the mid 1800's, so I assume that the cemetery may be lost and overgrown by now.

Thanks for adding the obit to my great uncle's memorial, I'd never seen it before. It's appreciated.

Do you know if her son, James Houston Gibbs, is still living? Did she ever marry again after being married to William Allen Gibbs? I know he married twice after her; once in Orlando, Florida and lastly to a lady in McKenzie, TN.

I am wondering if this is my great-great grandfather. Was there a wife buried beside him or any other info that might help me determine if he is in fact.

Re Find A Grave Memorial# 35171984
I believe this Loyd, 1911-1914, son of R B & M Collier, must be the Loyed William Collier that I just found in the Kentucky Death Index. What do you think?
Born 16 Dec 1911, Marshall County
Died 10 Apr 1914, Marshall County
Parents (Buller[sic] Collier and May Cornwell) both born in Graves County.
This should also allow you to link him to Robert Butler Collier and his wife Eula Mae Cornwell, also.

Just wanted to say thank you for your help in connecting George W Jones and Bennie Jones with their children.

On Memorial 35171976 the birth date is given as 08 Mar 1906. So far, all records I have found support a different date. SSDI has 08 Mar 1909 for a Johnie Collier whose social security number was issued in Kentucky and whose death date matches the Kentucky Death Index for a John Collier. Kentucky Death Index says he was 58 when he died at 07 May 1966. The censuses vary (1 year in 1910, 10 in 1920, and 21 in 1930) but all cluster around the 1909 date. This is suggestive but not conclusive.
Is the grave marker the only source for 1906?
Thanks for taking the time to review this.

When looking at his memorial I noticed that the death year is different from the one on the pictured marker. I was so relieved to see that he died 3 Apr 1904 instead of 3 Apr 1901. Otherwise, his last child was not his at all!
I am going to submit this as an edit, hoping that doing so is not inappropriate. Do you have to approve the edits or do they just go through? I'm very new to being a contributor, so please let me know whether that is a "no no." I would not do the edit, but feel sure the error was a typo, since the rest of the date is the same in the text and on the marker.
