A number of memorials have recently been transferred to me, including some created by a fallen graver, Autumn, and some from John Doe. I'll respond to additions, corrections, links, etc., as quickly as possible. If you are related or connected and would like a transfer to your care, please ask. Request transfers ONLY through the message feature of the "edit" tab on the memorial you want. That way, I'll have the numbers needed for a smooth, accurate transfer. I am flexible with transfers, and trust that you will take good care of them. Exceptions would be those contributors who will not themselves transfer outside Find A Grave guidelines.|
I really enjoy taking volunteer photos. Please submit each photo request as a separate request. When additional photo requests are in the notes, they are not printed on the request list, and I don't see them when I am out taking pictures. As photo requests are filled, any associated notes disappear. Also, the new app does not display the notes or any additional requests in them.
If you want to use my grave photos on other web sites, such as Ancestry.com, or your family tree, there is no need to ask. But please credit me. If you want a photo on additional Find A Grave memorials, such as when there is a double stone, please ask me to post those so I don't find my photos with your name on them. If you want to alter or further crop my photos, please ask me.
This permission to use my photos does not apply to personal or family photos. Please ask first about those.

Thank you so much for taking the time to take the picture. I had no idea that her grave wasn't marked.
I have a question and would like your opinion. I was doing some reading through the Records of the Moravians in North Carolina, and stumbled on two people that appear to be buried in the Saint Philips Parish Graveyard. Now I know that information lists that burials did not occur after a particular date (I think 1815 or maybe 1859). I have found information that suggest otherwise. What do you think? Below I will include the questionable text.
"...The Negro couple had eight children, all baptized in the Colored Church. Fanny died April 11, 1870 and Adam on September 7 of that same year. Both were buried in the graveyard of the Colored Church in Salem."

Thank you for adding the Dewey family grave photo from Salem Cemetery. I appreciate your doing so and the info. I am going to make a call to a family member about the last name. Thanks for the info!
