When I first started adding to FindAGrave, I felt I was doing a good thing. I love linking people. But I'm finding out now that no matter what I did, there is apparently always someone who thinks they can do better. So there's no reason for me to waste my time any more.

Thank you
Thank you for letting me know about duplicate Goodwills at Trim/Trimm Cemetery. I removed the newer entries.

RE: Torrence
My cousin Don ("Gourley-Sprankle") is traveling and doing genealogy research. As he finds new information, he's been transferring his memorials to me to make the updates and then I transfer them back to him. It's easier since he's on the road and I am in front of my computer. I can see how that would look odd :-)

Thank you for photographing Rece and Leona Bromley McDonald and Clifford and Jennie Adamczyk Bromley. I see you created a memorial for the baby on the McDonald's stone - Dustin. Were you able to find out anything else about him/her? His/Her parents?

Francis F Fileger PHOTO
I want to thank you for taking a recent photo of Frank Fileger's headstone. Now, I'm trying to locate his 1st wife's grave. Her name was
Clara L Fileger; and I'm not sure where she was
buried----I do not know her maiden name either.
They lived in the Royal Oak, Michigan area for a number of years in the 1930's and early 1940's.

My grandmother was a cousin to Clara

Anyway, Thank you for taking the time.

Yes you are correct. I have notified the owner of that memorial. When he or she makes the additions and corrections from my memorial, I will gladly delete it. If he or she doesn't, I will request a merger.

Thank you for letting me know that there are two memorials for him.

I certainly don't feel I can do any better than you or anyone else that volunteers their time. It's a lot of hard work that is greatly appreciated. I feel bad that you feel your work is not being appreciated by all. I hope they see your message. I certainly didn't mean any ill intent with corrections or added info. I was just trying to get as much info for each record as possible. I love "cemetery stomping". So much history to be told. If you ever want to team up on a cemetery, let me know. It would be fun.

P.S. again I am sorry if I happened to be one of the ones that "rubbed you the wrong way". Was not my intention.

Sorry. I didn't mean yours in particular. Just that it was a duplicate. I appreciate all your dedication to getting these cemeteries recorded. You have spent a of time and energy doing this. Please feel free to message me if you see anything I have added incorrectly.
