Taking a temporary break from FindAGrave. Will be returning in May.
Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

|Phil||James Scully at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta|
I found a monumennt for Scully but no individual markers for a James Scully.
You may want to check with the office to see if there are individual markers for any Scully's there. They should have that in their records.
When the Findagrave app is working again, I will upload the photo I took.

|CC Stewart||William Patterson Netherland (1843-1901)|
Thank you so much for posting the picture of my Great Grandfather William Patterson Netherland. I was so very pleased to find this picture today as I have never seen his photo before. Is this your picture? Do you have any others? Do you have a family tree with any Netherland documents and/or pictures attached? I would be happy to share any of my info that you might be of interest to you. I am registered on Findagrave as CC Stewart, and I am located in Georgia. Thank you so much. Carol

|Joe V Bolin||John A Bolin|
You are the keeper of memorial identified as John A Bolin, he is actually Jacob Bolin, my 2nd Gr-Grandfather. Would you please transfer this memorial to me so that I can update all information.
His memorial is: id=6568585
Source of info: family records: Jacob Bolin was born on January 8, 1816, in York, South Carolina, the child of William Bolin. He had three sons,(James W. (1846), Madison Levi (1847), John L. (1853)) and one daughter (Mary E. (1844)) with Deborah Simmons. He was killed in battle at the Battle of Franklin on November 30, 1864, in Franklin County, Tennessee, at the age of 48 and is buried in Confederate (McGavock) Cemetery, Franklin, Tennessee. Although his son, Madison L., allegedly spelled his name "Bowlin", Jacob spelled his "Bolin" and it's on his grave marker as J. Bolin.
