Going forward, I will only transfer one's direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grand-parents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. |
AUNTS, UNCLES, and COUSINS are not required transfers.
BEFORE you request a transfer - have you considered using the Virtual Cemetery feature? It's an easy way to collect all of your ancestors either in one big VC or you can have several VCs for various family lines.

I know you maintain many memorials and therefore probably don't have time to track sources, but I was wondering if you have or know the source for the birth date of 20 Dec 1795 that you posted on James F. Hamilton's memorial #10026905. -- Do you know if that birth date is from his headstone, or another source? I'm trying to confirm his birth year because the census records indicate he may have been born before 1795.
Just a question regarding Margaret Hoge White. Was she ever married to a man by the name of Robert Wilson. Have run across this information, but you don't show it on Find A Grave. William and Barbara Hume Hoge are my great grand parents, nine times removed on my Mom's side of the family. Thank you for your help.

According to her Missouri death certificate, Phoebe (Phebia) Shipman was buried at Johnston Cemetery, not
Ozark Cemetery. I notice that Christian County does not have a Johnston Cemetery, but that at one time, Fairview Cemetery was called "Johnson" Cemetery in the early 1900s. Phoebe's husband, Abraham Shipman (Find A Grave # 6061590) was buried in Fairview Cemetery, so I am wondering if Phoebe might have been buried there, too.

Hello - I'm working on a project to add maps to all Kansas cemeteries at Findagrave. Can you provide detailed directions or GPS coordinates to the grave of Charles Campbell? I have not been able to locate a Campbell family cemetery in that area.

Would you consider transferring this one to me? She is my aunt (my father's sister). I manage all the other family members in that cemetery. All my ancesters are buried there. Thank you for considering this. And thank you for all you do to make Find A Grave more complete.

I am inputting some names from this cemetery and see the gravestones listed of 3 sons who died when they were young of Alonzo J & Maria L Gage. I tried to contact the creator of Alonzo's memorial page in Montana but was seeing that her contributor's page no longer exists. I don't see where Maria is buried...yet. I also have the burial listing of Joseph and Hannah Worcester Gage...but think they are Alonzo's brother/sister-in-law (perhaps) and not his parents because of the birth dates.
Any information you can give me would be great...want to link them properly.

|Carol Sechriest||James Daugherty|
I also have the Daugherty family history that tells of his birth at the 3rd Crossing of the Sweetwater River near Lander Wy. I am searching for information on his father Dennis Daugherty who would be my grandfather on my mother's side. I have info that says he was buried in Grass Valley Ca, but can't find a cemetery or grave for him. He died in 1865.
Can you help? thanks.
|Art Ottman||John stebbins Info.|
I saw you created the find a grave for John Stebbins born 1626 in England and died 1679 in Northampton Ma. You show his burial to be at Bridge St Cemetery in Northampton. I have been there and wasn't able to find his grave also, I contacted the man in Northampton at the court office that takes care of the cemetery. He told me there was no John Stebbins listed buried there.
Have you actually found the grave there. You don't have a photo of it on the site page. I recently moved to New Hampshire so I am fairly close. If you have a close location in the cemetery where his grave it is I would love to know. I am a direct decedent of the family. Thank you for your time with this matter.
