■ Use the "Suggest a Correction" feature on the appropriate memorial to submit information or any requests. I follow the Find-A-Grave guidelines regarding the transfer of memorials. Any transfer requests should only be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. |
■ If you send me a request for transfer of a memorial, please explain exactly how you are related to the person. Thanks.
■ Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website.
■ Find A Grave's secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site.
■ Find A Grave's tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource. If a listing or contribution corresponds with only the primary purpose, it has fulfilled its part of Find A Grave's mission and is not required to correspond with the secondary and tertiary purposes. Fulfilling the other two is welcomed, encouraged and deeply appreciated, but as far as Find A Grave's purpose goes, a memorial page isn't lacking if it does not.
I live in Cheyenne, WY. Love the hunt for interesting history in my area.
My goal in Find-A-Grave is to compose the best memorials I can for the people I am honoring. I add as many people as I possibly can to Find-A-Grave and then, as time permits, I do what I can to link them with their relatives and I also add an obituary or write as much of a biography as I can based on available records and information.
I welcome your reviews of the memorials I have posted, and I welcome any information you might provide to help compose the best memorials we can.

|Sly||Capt. Jerry Singleton|
Thank you for adding Capt. Jerry Singleton. I wore his bracelet for years starting at age 13. I searched off and on through the years to find out what had happened to him, even before the internet. I contacted the VA, no help. Today I decided to check the internet again and found a few stories. Than I decided to check Find A Grave, and there he was because of you. Thank you for all the work you have done on Find A Grave. I'm sure you have helped out hundreds of thousands of people. Most sincerely,

Thank you for letting me know that I created two memorials for James Amara in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Middle Village, New York. I deleted one of them. Thanks
