I started working on my genealogy in 2010 after my father passed on my grandmothers research and have found findagrave.com to be invaluable to me in doing research. That is why I return the favor and take photos for requests whenever possible and add to FaG as much as I can to help others.|
I am currently researching all four lines of my tree; Ingram/Ingraham from Virginia to Kentucky, to Tennessee, Henry from Tuscumbia, Alabama area, Graves from Castle County, Delaware to Tennessee, and Knight from Chesterfield, South Carolina to Mississippi. If you are related to any of these lines please don't hesitate to contact me!

|Liz LeCour||RE: Vallette's|
I just realized that I had written to you earlier. I just send a note about the Kevlins. Please don't take it wrong as I am only wanting the correct info out there. I have many cousins that don't do their own research and rely heavily on others. I just want it to be right.
I know of Brice Vallette he is my third cousin. His father Connell and my mother were first cousins. His mom just passed and it seemed suddenly. Thanks for your help. If I can help you, please don't hesitate to ask. I am a genealogist consultant for the DAR.

I came upon Henry Kevlin Sr.'s Find A Grave site. First, you have all of your info mixed up.
You have Henry Kevlin Sr. with Henry Kevlin Jr.'s picture and the picture of Isadora Kevlin who was Sr.'s wife. You have the birth date of Jr. with the death date of Henry Sr. These are my relatives so I am positive of the dates.
Henry Kevlin Sr. Oct 11, 1835 Newark, NJ died Oct.8, 1884 from Typhoid Fever.
Henry Kevlin Jr. b. Nov 29, 1862 Plaquemine(city),
Iberville, LA. d. Jan 26, 1909 Algiers, LA. Malaria Complications. He married Malvina Price.
Please correct the above information? I am thanking you in advance.
|Alan Miller||RE: John Frazier McCollum|
I appreciate the offer to have him transferred to me, but I am not a descendant of him. Sometimes I get interested in a person who is not a blood relative and follow their line a ways.
Having a legible picture of a person's tombstone and a biographical sketch of them on Findagrave.com is a great help. I just wanted to do that in this case.
|Alan Miller||John Frazier McCollum|
According to the official death record of John Frazier McCollum, he was born in Kentucky on 10 Sep 1857 and died on 7 Jan 1941 in Henderson County, Tennessee. The picture of the marker for J. F. McCollum has 1860-1940.
His father Samuel F. McCollum died in Mobile, AL was a private in the Union's 7th Tennessee Cavalry Regiment and was captured un Union City, TN on March 24, 1864. He and other prisoners were forced to march to Mobile, AL where he died of a fever and is buried there.
His mother Mary Davenport died in Kentucky in 1865, and their children were taken back to Henderson County by relatives and lived with them. Most likely she was in the Paducah area where several Union sympathizing families in West Tennessee went for refuge during the Civil War due to retribution by Confederate sympathizing neighbors and Confederate soldiers.
I am still researching to find the cemetery where his parents are buried.
|P. Hamilton||RE: Eunice Effie Boyce nee Beckham|
This Eunice (Effie) would have been my great grandmother! Thomas Guy Castleberry was my grandfather. I would like to correspond with relatives of Eunice / Effie's. She seemed to be married 3 or 4 times. Interesting woman... from newspaper articles I have found about a bloody tragedy in Scuffletown...she was quite a pretty woman!
|P. Hamilton||Eunice Effie Boyce nee Beckham|
I am almost positive that this woman is my great grandmother. Do you have any more research on her? Mostly - how many yrs she was married to Boyce? The woman I am seeking was once married to a Castleberry in Spartanburg SC. Thank you. P. Hamilton
|Ronald Steward||RE: McCann Family|
