|Bio and Links|
I am an amateur genealogist, rockhound, Civil War buff, Army Nurse Corps Veteran and student of history and human behavior. |
When I have the honor of managing a memorial, I work to build a bio so that when someone reads it, s/he comes away with an idea of what that person's life was like. Each of us is so much more than birth and death dates. I'm grateful for the the photographers who do the hard work, getting out into the cemeteries, recording the names & dates & snapping gravestone photos of people they don't even know, and who may otherwise remain unrecorded, and forgotten. That's not right, even if you ARE dead.
Thanx to those of you who leave flowers for my Mom, Marilyn Wright Mader, Dad, LTC. Gene W. Mader, my wacky baby sister, Lisa Ann Mader Putnam, Ronald Richard Kropczynski, and Woman's Best Friend, Miss Sheba.
As a Veteran and daughter of one, I believe that we should honor our Veterans~~the women and men who have fought and sacrificed for this great Republic by noting their service in their memorial. The courageous dead deserve to be honored and remembered.
****I want the info on my memorials to be as accurate as possible, so I welcome edits. However, if your info conflicts with mine, please state your source. I don't post data without having a reliable source, and have the same standards for edits. Thank you for caring enough to take the time to send an edit!*****
***In most cases I am willing to transfer memorials of people who are not family to me. Please tell me how you are related to that person and make your request through the edit tab on the memorial. Thank you.***

Hello....I hope you can help me. I'm trying to locate any relatives of Ronnie Spurrier. My name is Lisa, and I'm his biological daughter. My moms name is Tina Tenaglia but she passed a month ago tomorrow. I would like to find any half brothers or sisters I might have. I would like to see pictures of my dad as all I have are documents from the Corp about child support. I hope this message reaches anyone that can help me...I'm sure his parents have passed but I would like to know if I have any Aunts, Uncles etc. Lisa

I figured that sometime we would show up in a family tie somehow, your grandmother Nancy Jane Boles Irwins daughter Mary Emma Irwin married Charles F Atwell my 2nd cousin 3xremoved. So your grandma is the mother in law of my 2nd cousin 3xremoved.
Just thought I would share that with you. I did leave your grandma a flower today.
Hope you are well,
wishing you blessings,
Gail Lyons Grier

Thanks so much! Yes, my records have 1836 also, I didn't notice the difference when the memorial was transferred to me, duh! I'm so glad you did.

Recently posted a photo to your memorial. Like you, I research the person to make sure I have the right person. I found a possible link: his wife (Anna "Ammie" Bear Towell) who's buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Montgomery County, Kansas. (Find A Grave #52724048). According to the 1930 Census Des Moines, Polk, Iowa, Joseph Drury is married to Ammie Bear. She died on 21 Sep 1987 in Kansas. She also married a Towell. Joseph Drury is found in the 1910 Census at Augur Barracks, Jolo Jolo, Philipines. Thought you might like the information, and if you can confirm...link to your memorial.
