Bio

I am the great (x3) grandson of John Pearson (1777-1857) from Pennsylvania, who settled in Georgia in 1801, establishing the Pearson family in Tattnall County, Georgia, c. 1803. We are direct descendents of Thomas Pearson of Marple, son of Lawrence Pearson and Elizabeth Janney of Chester, Cheshire, England, who came to America with Wm Penn in 1683 where they named and settled in Chester, Pa., so named for their former home in England.

My goal has been simply to find and add missing family members who are either part of or close to this direct line. (We are also connected to the families Phillips, Shuman, Thomas, Rogers, Stanley, Tod, DeLoach, etc.) I hope what I've found and posted will be of interest to others. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of help.
