Bio

I am a registered nurse that enjoys genealogy as an outlet. I am a mother of 5 children and also have 12 grandchildren. I began reasearching families in 1995 when my grandmother, Nancy Louise (Wilson) Myers, passed away. She had been a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, which started these searches, and this information is required for admission. She encouraged all four of her granddaughters to enter and had given each of us copies of her certificate, the application papers, as well as, all the corresponding research. Now, I have become addicted to this little hobby and cannot stop. I do this in her memory, "Family will always be the most important part of your life."
I also dedicate this page, and my genealogy work, to my younger sister, Kimberly Ann Johnson, who passed away April 1, 2003. She was only 45 yrs of age and left two sons, one daughter and husband along with all of her immediate family. We will miss her always."
Now, by 2019, I have lost my nuclear family. My mother passed in 2011, and my nephew in 2012, my father in 2015 and then my youngest sister in 2017. 2021 I am the only one left of my generation and I have a cancer diagnosis and have know known length how long I how long I have left. "I do this in memory of all of those that have gone before me."
