Bio and Links
I am well rooted in German Ridge, Perry Co. Indiana. My Grand father Jacob Lauer came from Germany to America in 1863. The family settled in German Ridge where he grow up. He married my Grandmother Mary Aichelmann who also came to America in 1870 from Germany, settling at German Ridge in the early 1880;s All seven of the Lauer children were born and grow up there. My father is Clarence Lauer. Also my Mother's Great Grand father William Samuel Schwartz and his wife Wilhelmina settled at German Ridge in the mid 1860's My father moved the family to Indianapolis about 1940 where I was born and grow up. Now I live in Greenwood, Indiana. My brother and I became interested in genealogy in the spring of 2010, learning so much about our family, So much we did not know. I have had the privilege of reuniting with cousin as well as meeting cousins I did not know. What a WONDERFUL Journey.

Thank you for the Transfer, and for your very quick response.
It might take me a few weeks to actually post a Bio, (lots of previous commitments) but I will let you know when it is up.
Aside from all the usual Source Documents, I have an autobiography written by his oldest son.
Think I also want to try to track down all his children and Link them to him.

Dianna I created a memorial for a Hedwig Helwig from the same cemetery. His name was on the back side of Julius stone, along with Julius. If you want I will transfer this to you. Later

Thank you for the information on John, I appreciate it. If he died in Cherokee, it's in Crawford County so I changed it.
