Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an avid genealogist. Paternal lines of interest include Murphy, McLane, Jordan, Ruane, Stark, Hausrath, Farber, Engel, Robertson, Henning. Maternal lines of interest include Protani, Mastracci, Incitti, Fiori, Rosenberger, Fleckenstein, Kostohryz, Bednar and Cunat.I make a note when I am related to one of the people I add to the database, although sometimes I forget to do so. If you're a cousin, feel free to write me. I'm always happy to talk to kin.I have also "adopted" a few cemeteries in Baltimore which I have been trying to document. Lately, I have been making an effort to do some simple research on the people beneath the graves I have been photographing. If you are related to one of them and see any mistakes, please write and correct me. I would also be happy to take down any memorial or transfer it so that you can make your own for your relative.

I am also a writer and filmmaker.

RE: Katie Amendt
Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I've been trying to find my Amendts on a census but haven't found it yet/ But,my Louis was born in 1896 & died in Binghamton, NY in 1970.He was married to Catherine Spaeder in 1922( my grandmother's 1/2 sister) . They had a child in 1923 who died the same day. They divorced after 1930 & he married Mildred who died in 1962, then he married Harriet. He had the following siblinga:Harry,Allen,Robert & Jack/ There are Amendt relatives around Niagra Falls . I tried to contact them but they didn't answer. So, it looks like you're not related to my Louis. Thank you for your reply, tho, I really appreciate it

Chuck Huffer
RE: Huffers in Emmanuel Church Cemetary, Mount Solon VA
Sean Paul: After a bit of digging I determined that Deborah Lynn and I are indeed 6th cousins; our common ancestor is Johannes Hoffer(t) of Berks County PA. Deborah's great-great grandmother was Barbara Ann Huffer (1832-1897), a great-great granddaughter of Johannes. If you have access to Ancestry.com, my Family Tree (HufferFamilies2013June28) has a lot of details about the descendants of Johannes Hoffer(t), including the Crums.

Sean Paul: Thanks for your message! If your wife is a Huffer from Augusta County VA then we are almost certainly related ... probably like 5th or 6th cousins. I would love to hear about her Huffer family.

Maver
I am adding a "Maver" stone to the database. I found it in Hillside Cemetery in Rosly, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Let me know if you want to maintain it.

Cecelia's (1st cousin 2x removed) mother Helena Joanna Spahn was my Great Aunt. Helena sister Teresa (Spahn) Schmidt was my Great-Grandmother.

My father has alot of wonderful memories at his Aunt's house when they visited. My father is now 85 and the last of 10 children - so this makes him very happy when I can tell him stories. After alot of research, I am slowly connecting all of them. Way too many Spahns and Schmidts!

Thanks for the connection - I guess we are cousins somehow!
