I just found your site and realized we are related. I am Sandra Kendrick born to Margaret and Clifford Kendrick from Missouri. Mom was a Ferguson her mom was a Brandon,her dads mom was a King married a Ferguson then a Metkiff. We have a lot more to talk about after looking at the names in your messages. I'm known here in Alabama as "YellowWolf" of the Cherokee Tribe. I have an email of email@example.com if you want to contact me there.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
|Susan Sigmon||David McGee|
David McGee Sr. is my 4th Great Grandfather. I was wondering if you knew if there was any native american in his line. My Dad was always told there was but I can not find anything. Also I found a record for David McGee Confederate, US Indian Troops. Just wondering if you had run across the same thing.
|Ancestor Hunter||Nancy Taylor Fortenberry|
Is there any proof that Nancy Fortenberry is of Cherokee descent or is that family lore?
|D McGrath Thompson||RE: Rebecca Elizabeth McFarland Wilkerson|
Yes. I know that George W. Wilkerson is the son of
John Wilkerson and Mollie Latta. I wish I could find a picture of him. The description I have is
that he was 5'6" tall, blue eyes and had a fair
complexion. He is on the Dawes Roll. I have also
made an application to the Cherokee Nation. My grandmother was close to full blood. There was
Cherokee on both sides of her family.
The Wilkerson/McFarland side and the Tullis/Maddox side. I have a picture in my grandmother's Album that is of Dora McFarland. I have a photograph of my great grandmother Rachel Tullis Wilkerson but I have not been able to find a picture of my great grandfather, Charles H. Wilkerson. I have both of their death certificates. He died in Maricopa, AZ
from Tuberculosis in 1923 according to the Death
Certificate. He took his older son, Walter, went to Arizona to get treatment at a Sanitarium for Tuberculosis. Walter only lived 5 months after they arrived in 1916. Grandpa Charles got sick too. They are both buried in Phoenix.
I would love to hear more from you. DGena Thompson
|D McGrath Thompson||Rebecca Elizabeth McFarland Wilkerson|
Rebecca Elizabeth McFarland Wilkerson is my
great great grandmother; and the mother of
my great grandfather. Charles H. Wilkerson;
My grandmother is Charlsey Ann Wilkerson and
they called her "Annie". Her mother was Rachel
Tullis Wilkerson. my great grandmother.
If Rebecca Elizabeth McFarlsnd Wilkerson is your great great grandmother as well, then that would
mean that we are cousins. Right?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

|L.D. Vaughn||David S. McGee Jr.|
ON the find a grave website for David S. McGee Jr. who is buried in the McGee cemetery in Tuscaloosa Alabama, you have posted a photo of a large arch.
Would you please tell me where this arch is located exactly.
Thank you for your time.
I am a descendent of David McGee through his son Anthony.
|Jo Ann Ford||Thomas Hillard Patrick|
Thank you for all your help! Really appreciate all your great work. Thomas Hillard Patrick (find-a-grave #67322570) is the son of George Riddle Patrick (find-a-grave #67322785) and Willie Maude (Boynton) Patrick (find-a-grave #67322741). NOT the son of George Reece Patrick (find-a-grave #67119226)and Mary Jane Jackson (Riddle) Patrick (find-a-grave #67119132). George Reece Patrick died in 1912 and his wife, Mary Jane Jackson (Riddle) Patrick died in 1921. Since Thomas Hillard Patrick was born in 1927 he could not be George Reece and Mary Jane Jackson (Riddle) Patrick's son but was his grand parents. Also you can see clearly from the photo of Thomas Hillard Patrick's grave stone that he is the son of Dr. G.R. and WM. Patrick. George Riddle Patrick was also an doctor.
Please correct this. Thank you, Jo Ann
|C. Darlene Harper||Descendants of Alexander P. Trimble|
We found the photo of Alexander Pierce Trimble's gravestone on findagrave.com. AP Trimble was my mother's great grandfather.
We now live in Oregon and have copies of the original Oregon land grant for AP & Polly Trimble. We also have photos of the historical kiosk and billboard markers commemorating the Oregon Trail massacre of their niece's (Emeline Trimble) family. We also have the book written by Emeline describing the experience and by the Idaho Historical Professor who wrote about the massacre. We also have copies that were given to my mother by her Aunt Ann Trimble (HL "Doc" Trimble's wife) of letters that were sent from Wisconsin to Oregon by family of AP Trimble (copies are pretty difficult to read). We also have copies of 1850, 1860, 1870 1880 and 1900 census records. We would be very happy to share any information that we have with you.
We saw on the findagrave website some photos of AP. We would be VERY interested in any other information, photos or documentation that anyone may have on AP, his ancestors or his descendants.
