I'm also trying to rescue those unclaimed old photos in antique stores. See if you know anyone at www.unclaimedancestors.com.
Richard O'Malley #86116925 Would you happen to know if Michael OMalley was Richards Father, and Margaret Conner as his Mother? They were from Ireland also. Roman Catholic, Killarney, Kerry, Ireland Michael was born 1823 and mom 1827???
Robert Newton/Sinclairville I will be at the Evergreen Cemetery sometime the first two weeks of May. Bob was married to my cousin. I will take some photos of his grave for you. I don't want to claim it yet since it's still a month away but wanted to let you know. Are there any other Sinclairville, Cassadaga, or Gerry photos you need? I will be seeing Bob's widow when I'm there.
RE: Franscioni Thanks so much Jodi. By the way, your photo blog is a great idea. About 30 yrs ago I use to buy up old photos at antique stores and mail them to historical and genealogical societies all over the U.S., hoping families would make a connection. I was able to find some of my own relatives that way and they had similar photos taken the same day and could identify everyone for me. Needless to say that didn't happen often, but so worth the effort when it does. Take care and thanks again.
Franscioni Hi Jodi - Saw on your blog the message Carli left regarding Erma [Franscioni] Eckman. Since I maintain the memorials for Erma and other Franscionis, I would like to get in touch with her. I don't feel right leaving her a message on your blog, so was wondering if you would be willing to see if she might contact me thru Find A Grave? I guess the easiest for her would be to follow your blog's link to Erma's memorial and then she could leave me a message there. If you'ld rather not, that's fine though.
RE: Jacob Harburger photo request The problem is that there isn't really a dokumentation about the graves and the sections. The other problem is that most of the stones are written in hebrew. It would be great if you could get some information. I will try too.
