Good Morning, I visited Shutes Cemetery this this past weekend and I think I found part of the stone for Elizabeth Moore. Unfortunately their is an area just outside the fence of the cemetery where there is many stones that were piled up there or have toppled over on each other and since brush, trees and mud have taken over. I hope to visit again (I live in Massachusetts) within the next few months and will be better prepared to clean some of this out. Sadly without burial records (which I am working on to find) there is no way to tell if this is her gravesite. If you would like to see what I have send me your email and I will attach it. I do not want to post it yet as there is no direct proof this is her.
Thanks for finding the duplicate, I've deleted it.

Hi Patricia - I'm sorry I can't help you. I created these memorials for Findagrave after I found them elsewhere on the internet and found that they had not yet been created on Findagrave. Good luck in your search.
I have updated the memorial page as you requested. Are you a descendant or relative? Are you interested in having the page transferred to you?

Thank you for your sponsorship of this gravesite.
It would have resolved my confusion though if I had found it I would have known what you were talking about, LOL

What really confused me was doing a search for another John Burkhead memorial and none came up..and I always check before I put one up and if there is one in another cemetery when I've walked the one I'm doing I usually contact the contributor and ask if they want to put in the correct cemetery before I add photo. But sometimes there is different spelling which messes that up. Thanks for unconfusing me..at least as far as this message goes.

Would be more then happy to post or give you the picture. I don't have the original but can extract it.
That headstone though is not in Imlay City Cemetery. It's in Goodland Township Cemetery.
Can you move the memorial, then I'll add the photo.

Thank you for the suggestion to take a closer look at the enlistment date in Charles' memorial. Looks like he enlisted when about 21 years and passed away when 83 years old. The change has been made and thanks again.
