Bio Photo Please help me process your edit requests by sending me a personal email to alert me that you have sent through a correction if you see that it has been a few days and the changes did not take place. With the new system there are no notices sent to the contributors that there are edits waiting to take place and we usually have to randomly stumble across them, or check daily.
I am an amateur "genie" researching many family lines in both my husband's and my own family.

During the summer of 2010, we re-traced the path of the wagon trains that brought our families out to Kansas, which took us through MO-IL-OH-PA. During our trip we not only visited the Historical Societies, but also many cemeteries where we cleaned or uncovered headstones, took photos, and documented the information for not only our records, but for future generations.

HEADSTONE PHOTOS: My husband and I have spent considerable time, and in some instances driving great distances, battling weeds, heat, rain, bugs and critters to take these photos. Saying that...please feel free to use any photo for your family records. Please be respectful and do not re-post to any other memorials on FAG or any other public grave website. Should you find any questionable information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

We have been working on God's Acre Moravian Cemetery in Northampton County, PA and Aux Sable Cemetery in Grundy County, IL. Both of these cemeteries were recently turned over into our care to link, add photos, and maintain as my husband is related to nearly everyone there.

My husband's family lines are: Clewell, Cryder, Clester, Brink, Donley, Dixon, Derrick, Downs, Reid

My family lines: Hitchcock, Higgins, Homire, Heskett, Van Buskirk, Meek, Robinson

Happy hunting!

J.W. Hitchcock
Nancy-My Aunt had a box of old Skidmore Newspapers-I found obit for J.W.Hitchcock if you would like me to scan and send it to you. My email is I would be happy to send it to you! (Isn't this so interesting, it seems to connect us with our ancestors!)

Bethany Cemetery
Nancy-Thanks for making the corrections to the memorials at Bethany Christian Cemetery. Of the three people I sent those to, you are the only one who followed through! I have had that list since mid-70's. More than likely, some of the memorials I added are possibly unmarked graves, but anyone looking for their ancestors, I hope, will find the information to be valuable. So nice to have someone who created a memorial to actually make the corrections, do you find, as I have that some people seem to be trying to win a contest on who can create the most memorials, but then they completely ignore your requests and edits?!?! Thanks again for all your hard work, didn't know you, but I hoped that you wouldn't be overwhelmed or get upset.

Becky Van Zandt Brennan
Nancy, I was able to link John William with his parents, per your request. These people are direct descendants for me. If you would like to transfer Joshua Van Zandt and Mary Ann Thayer Van Zandt to me, I'd be glad to take care of them. I also have information to link them to Zachariah Noble Van Zandt who was Joshua's father and Leticia Clayton who was his mother. Thanks, Becky Van Zandt Brennan

I was able to get ahold of James Seidelman & he was very sweet about letting me use all the information on the original memorial. Her memorial has been updated & I transferred the original memorial back to Jim. He will delete it when he gets a chance.
I also updated all the other stuff you sent for Wheeler Cemetery.
Have a great day!

I wasn't aware, until now, that with the new system there's a list of reasons from which to pick! (It's a bit limited, and curt!)

Since they are your distant in-laws, would you like transfers? Would be happy to do so - just would be helpful to me if they are requested directly from each memorial.

Nicholas Biever family
Hi Nancy -

Thanks much for the links & additional info. I've decided, however, just to leave the suffix off for Nicholas (son of Nickolas, and father of Nicholas, Jr.). He was recorded as "Jr." at his marriage; most likely he became known as "Sr." after his father's death. Hopefully the link to his father & the obit calling his son Nicholas, Jr., is sufficient to clarify the relationships!

I had made the correction you had told me about. I do not know why I had placed her at the wrong Cemetery. Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it. William McMillin
